The most talked about musical dramas are now set to clash. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Ram Leela', the promo of which has already been unveiled, was set to enjoy a solo release in the coming festive season, however now Kangna Ranaut starrer ‘Rajjo’ is too releasing on the same date.With so much effort put in to make delightful film the Director of Rajjo Vishwas Patil says –“I was waiting for an apt time to bring the film. Even though the main character Kangna (or Rajjo) plays a Mujra wali in the film, it isn't somber or depressing by any means”.The release date of a film is a matter of importance and thought about at stretch. 15th November was decided as the release date for 'Rajjo', after a lot of brain storming. ‘Rajjo’ would incidentally be arriving just 12 days after the release of 'Krrish 3' (3rd November) in which Kangna would be seen kicking butt.Well few people are talking about why Kangna wants her film release on a same date of Ramleela, But the makers of Rajjo says-“ However once the final cut of the 'Rajjo' was seen by people concerned, there was an added sense of confidence. It was felt that the originally decided date would be just right to set the stage for 'Rajjo' v/s 'Leela',".We will also get a chance to see two stunning actresses Kangna & Deepika playing title roles in their respective films, with such talent and glamour a clash in the offering would be inevitable.About the film Kangna seem confident, she says "Rajjo' is really close to my heart and I am glad it is being released this festive season. As for competition with other films, there would be one every week in any case. I am sure my producers are taking a good call and it comes from the trust and confidence they have in the product. I am particularly proud of the film and my work. The film is special and it will fetch an audience of its own. I strongly believe in director Vishwas Patil and music director Uttam Singh. Once you see the promos, which would be out very soon, you would know what I mean." Brand Ambassador Vidya Balan attended the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne Conference (IFFM) as the Victorian Coalition Government extended its support for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne by one year, reinforcing strong bond that exists between the Victorian and Indian screen industries.Recently the actress spoke at length about various aspects of her film-career. She is also well-aware that her weight is the talk of the town at the moment.“My weight has become the talking point of the nation. Why is everyone bothered about it? Is it a national issue?  I am just trying to work on my body shape, keeping in mind my character in the film. Believe me, I am not doing anything special. I am not dieting. I am happy with the way I look and hope people would leave it at that,” says, Vidya.At the same time, she is geared up to play first female detective of India in upcoming film Bobby Jasoos. The Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha production is being directed by debutant Samar Shaikh. “Samar is a very talented director. I am really looking forward to working with him,” she says. The movie goes on floor in November.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has portrayed many challenging characters on-screen in her seven-year-old film career. However, she claims that her toughest role will be in Revolver Rani. "My role in Revolver Rani is very difficult to portray. I think Revolver Rani is my toughest role so far," Kangana said.

The multifaceted star, Farhan Khan has formed a rock band and has planned to tour with it, performing shows. Called Farhan Live, the nine-member band has been performing in different places around the world, including Goa (performance venue- the annual Carnival Celebrations of Goa, where around 15,000 people were gathered). Farhan along with music director Pritam also performed recently in Dubai.Singer-music composer Shankar Mahadevan's young son, Siddharth Mahadevan, who provided hit Bhaag Milkha Bhaag title track, is also touring with Farhan Akhtar's band and feels privileged to be working along with the star.An elated Siddharth shares, “This is really an unbelievable opportunity and I consider myself very fortunate and humbled to be a part of Farhan's tour. Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee, last seen in Satyagraha alongside Amitabh Bachchan and others, says he wants to reside in Delhi when he gets free from Mumbai or when he will achieve a certain position in his career. He also says that he has a special connection from Delhi as his family and friends are living in the capital.Manoj Bajpayee recently visited Delhi for a film’s shooting there he shared his desire to shift to Delhi. “Dilli se kaafi judi hui hain. Yahaan kaafi dost rehte hain, aur family bhi yahin hai. I am thinking of shifting to Delhi,” said the actor.Does it mean he’ll leave Mumbai soon? When sources asked the same that when he will be making the move, he said, “When I feel that I have reached a certain level in my career and my directors and producers will not mind calling me from Delhi to Mumbai, I will shift here. The thought of shifting to Delhi always comes to my mind. It is a thought that comes to mind almost daily. I feel that working from Delhi will make life easier for me.”Meanwhile Manoj is signed to do the voiceovers for the upcoming Mahabharat animated 3D mythological drama. He will dub for Yudishtir’s character in the animated story.

Even though her film Besharam, which was her first film as the leading lady, didn’t work well at the box-office, the pretty lass Pallavi Sharda is keeping her chin-up, and is proud of her work. Despite coming from Australia, this Indian-origin girl took the task to fit in the role of Delhi-Punjabi girl in the film helmed by Abhinav Singh Kashyap. "I think I always wanted to play different characters. This is what I have done in my life. I am happy to oscillate between an urban city girl and 'desi' girl," she says.You may know that she debuted in Bollywood playing a small-town girl in Manoj Bajpai’s Dus Tola, and then went on to star in films like My Name Is Khan and Love Breakups Zindagi. "In any case I do come from an Indian family. I thought it would be a great challenge to be seen as this 'desi' girl." Glad to work with Ranbir Kapoor in her first leading role, she said, "Ranbir is such an amazing person. He is supportive, generous, gives a lot of space and understands that there is a lot of work done through team work," she gushes, "I had no hesitation about how he would be as a co-actor. He is a brilliant actor and always on the top of the game. That was a further challenge for me only to pull myself up. Also, Abhinav was always there to push me into delivering my best. Veteran film actress and social activist Shabana Azmi says that she was brought up in such a manner that she pays huge attention while selecting a movie. Azmi was speaking as the chief guest for the 18th International Film Festival of Kerala, which started on Friday night.While addressing the sources, Shabana revealed how happy she felt looking at the participation of the audience in the festival. Azmi is someone who believes that a social message must come from a film, and she feels that the director is responsible for the same. "My family and the way in which I was bought up influenced my selection of movies across all genres," Azmi said.Azmi said, "I have trust and faith on the upcoming directors as they were reflecting reality based on what they have seen and experienced in life in cities. Masters like Satyajit Ray and Mrinal Sen portrayed rural life, as it was the reality they had seen in their life time."Quizzed if she would like to take up Malayalam films, Azmi said, "While acting, it is important for me to understand the meaning of the language."We applaud your belief!

It has already been told that veteran actress Sarika and South superstar Kamal Haasan’s daughter Akshara Haasan is all set to make her Bollywood debut. But, despite being a great actress of her time, Sarika has no intension of sharing tips with her daughter as she believes she should find her own way."Every generation has its own working style. We can share with them what we like about cinema because I don't know anything else. I only know cinema, so I can share that. Many must have heard that for his upcoming Vishal Bharadwaj’s Haider, actor Shahid Kapoor has agreed to go bald for the film. Being a Gujarati, Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi has all the traits of the community, and as the Navratri festival is on full-swing, he is also keen on getting into dandiya mode. He wants to pick up the dandiya sticks and dance his way out."I love dandiya. Being a Gujarati, dandiya is in my blood. During my college days, I was a champion in dandiya and used to win the first prize in it," Sharman said.Sharing past memories of the festival, he said, "During this time, you are allowed to go out even at night and play dandiya, besides you have girls in your groups too. This makes it the best time." His film Gang of Ghosts is a remake of the 2012 Bengali film Bhooter Bhabishyat, of which he says, "Gang... is a great concept, very unique and exceptional. Though it has an ensemble cast, I chose to be part of it as I have seen the original and was very impressed. I play the character that Sabyasachi Chakrabarty did in the Bengali version, that of a struggling writer. And this is the only character that has been changed slightly in the Hindi version while the other characters remain the same."Next he will be seen in Faraz Haider’s war comedy War Chhod Na Yaar, which also stars Jaaved Jaffrey, Soha Ali Khan and Sanjay Mishra. It will release on October 11.
