Here’s one more high-profiled project landed in the kitty of petite actress Parineeti Chopra. She has signed another romantic film titled Daawat-e-Ishq post two hit films Ishaqzaade and Shuddh Desi Romance. The project will be directed by Do Dooni Char and Ishaqzaade fame Habib Faisal and features Aditya Roy Kapur, Karan Wahi in the male lead roles. Anupam Kher would be seen essaying supporting character in the film, which is said to be a romantic comedy.Parineeti will work for the second time with Habib, while it would be her first venture with Aditya Roy, who rose to fame with Aashiqui 2. Karan Wahi, popular TV actor who has done shows like Dill Mill Gyye, Kuch Toh Loh Kahenge, Indian Idol Junior (hosting), will make his debut with the film. Veteran actor Anupam Kher confirmed the news sharing it on his micro-blogging site, “Delighted to be part of Daawat-e-Ishq with Parineeti Chopra, Habib Faisal, Aditya Roy Kapur and Karan Wahi.”Currently Parineeti is busy shooting for director Vinil Mathew on his project Hasee Toh Phasee, being produced by Karan Johar. It stars Sidharth Malhotra. What say guys, who will look good opposite Parineeti; Sidharth Malhotra or Aditya Roy Kapur?

Grapevine is abuzz that Karan Johar’s upcoming film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (YJHD), directed by Ayan Mukerji, brings together the Kapur trio, Siddharth Roy Kapur, UTV CEO, Kunaal Roy Kapur, actor and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Shoojit Sircar and Ronnie Lahiri’s new production, under their banner Rising Sun Films, Running Shaadi.com has just gone on the floors in Amritsar. Directed by first-timer Amit Roy, the film stars Amit Sadh and Taapsee Pannu in the lead and will be primarily shot in Punjab.Co-produced by Crouching Tiger Motion Pictures, Running Shaadi.com is a youth romantic comedy centered around this website which helps people elope and get married. Delving deep into the minds of India’s young, especially in the smaller towns, the film is intelligently entertaining with an array of endearing characters.Debutant Director Amit Roy has previously worked as a cinematographer for filmmakers like Ram Gopal Varma (Sarkar) and Rohan Sippy (Dum Maaro Dum). Running Shaadi.com will be his first venture as a Director. The film's leading man, Amit Sadh, who has been a rage on television, had a successful switch to the big screen earlier this year with Kai Po Che. He will romance Taapsee Pannu, who is already a big name down South and was the cynosure of all eyes in David Dhawan's remake of Chashme Baddoor recently.Having made two back-to-back hits like Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe, Shoojit is now supporting new directors to realise their dreams under his banner.“Amit Roy is a friend for many years so when he came to me with this script, I thought it was very interesting and a sweet love story which we decided to produce under our banner, Rising Sun Films. Even the house is named Ramayan."My father (Shatrughan Sinha) has three brothers - Bharat, Laxman and Ram. And my brothers are named Luv and Kush. So my house is aptly named as Ramayan. Just my mom and I are a misfit in this Ramayan," Sonakshi said.Meanwhile, the actress also broke her silence on her father’s extra-marital affair with yesteryears’ actress Reena Roy, who Sonakshi resembles to. Here is what she said: "I think it happened when I was not even born. I found out when I was growing up and started understanding things. But I'm not going to crucify my father for something he did years back. It is his past. And everybody has a past. So I don't think too much about it. Nor do I pay attention to it. In the past we have seen Chetan Bhagat’s books making it big whenever adapted for silver screen. There has been screen-adaptation of his books like Five Point Someone (3 Idiots) One Night At A Call Centre (Hello), Three Mistakes of My Life (Kai Po Che), and 2 States is still under the production.And now, the latest buzz has that another of his book will be adapted on big screen. This time Bhagat has teamed up with Disney UTV, for his latest bestseller Revolution 2020, which is to be directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. For those unaware, the novel talks down the lives of three childhood friends, Gopal, Raghav and Aarti."It is an intense love story set against the backdrop of corruption in the education sector, which affects millions across the country. I can't wait for the three characters to be cast and brought to life," said Bhagat. On his part, Raj Kumar says, "When I read the novel, I was quite moved. It is a very simple and heartfelt story about being young, being confused, being in love, getting corrupt... I am looking forward to writing and directing this book for the screen."Siddharth Roy Kapur, Managing Director, Studios, Disney UTV, adds, "We are excited to have played the catalyst in bringing Chetan and Raj Kumar together. Chetan had shared the draft of his book with us even before it was published and we instantly reacted to its cinematic potential. It has an incredibly well-graphed storyline and the issues it deals with are those that today's youth will instantly relate to and identify with." The screenplay of the film is currently underway and is expected to go on floors mid-2014.

Upcoming film Khoobsurat will be a family entertainment that has Sonam Kapoor as its leading lady, Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor as its producers. It would be produced by The Walt Disney Studios and proud father Anil said it is going to be a happy venture.“My daughters have grown up watching Disney movies, so it's exciting to see this collaboration. We have worked hard on the script and are sure the film will have universal appeal,” said Anil Kapoor, who is currently enthralling TV audience with his debut show 24 on Colors channel.Talking about the upcoming family production film, Khoobsurat has just gone on floors in Bikaner, Rajasthan. It revolves around Mili (Sonam), a vivacious girl who turns the lives of a royal family upside down. For the film, Sonam, who is known for his fashion has gone to adopt a de-glam look. About the film she said, “When you look at Walt Disney's life, his whole purpose was to entertain people and make them happy. And, in this film, Mili makes things happy and Khoobsurat.”Disney UTV’s Managing Director Siddharth Roy Kapur, further added, “The script is endearing and entertaining... it will be a fun experience for the whole family.”Khoobsurat will also see Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aamir Raza Hussain and being directed and  written by ad-filmmaker Shashank Ghosh. It is scheduled to hit theatres in mid-2014.
