B-town actress Deepika Padukone welcomed fame early in her life, being the daughter of badminton champion Prakash Padukone. Also he got to travel places early in her life, as most importantly she was born in the foreign country, and also it happens to be the best place for her.Talking in depth about her favorite destinations and food, she says, “Since I was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, it is my favourite city. And when I get the time, I love to shop in London and Dubai, that satisfies my shoe fetish. My wardrobe keeps on changing according to the advice of my designers.”“However, I love street shopping. And wherever I go I take time out to shop to my heart’s content. I also love Bhopal. While shooting for Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan I loved the peace and serenity of Bhopal. In the evenings, when the day’s shoot was over, I would love to take a cup of coffee and sit by the window and enjoy the sunset,” she adds.On the food, she reveals, “I always carry homemade food while travelling. I am very fond of south Indian dishes made by mom. And she still worries about my food when I am travelling. In any country, I always look forward to eating at Indian restaurants.”“Recently I travelled by road from Chandigarh to Manali and due to delays, I left my food behind in Chandigarh. Luckily my mother’s advice to my staff saved the day. She had directed my staff to always carry packets of biscuits and these biscuits came as a blessing during the trip,” says Deepika.“I love to go on holidays after a film shoot is done. I also love to go to Bengaluru where my parents live especially because I relish my mom’s dishes. My brother Vikram has always been attached to me and is my soulmate. After a while I started seeing my father in him and he became my pillar of strength. So much time has gone by and God has given you so much but you never recover from that pain. It's difficult to get over my father's betrayal as a protector that you expect as a young girl. Doing an initiative along with The Clean & Clear MTV Dream Project, which helps to fulfill the dreams of over a thousand homeless girls, Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor feels he is living his dream. The initiative is a joint project of M.A.D and The Clean & Clear that has titled Ketto. The actor, who has provided professional services through Ketto, has personally helped fulfill 17-year-old Manisha's dream, through a platform that connects people to a 1000 young, underprivileged girls across India, to make their small yet precious dreams come true. In Manisha's case, it meant a cycle to take her younger siblings to school.Kunal expressed, “Initiatives such as these help individuals like us to fulfill the dreams of these girls. When I got the chance to be that helping hand for Manisha to achieve her simple yet precious dream, I felt so much happiness! More so, I was very moved by what her dream was, she did not want the cycle for herself but for her siblings. I hope that girls like Manisha never stop dreaming.”Manisha, whose father is a cancer patient, has been living in Mumbai with her family for the last 12 years. She said, “My father has been suffering from cancer for quite a while. My mother has to spend most of her time in the hospital, to meet doctors, buy medicines and support my father. I did my best to make our lives better. Being the eldest child, I took the responsibility of taking care of the house and my younger siblings. The play school they go to is very far, and I walk everyday to pick them up as they cannot come on their own. That is why my dream was to own a cycle, so that I pick them up and come home safe and continue with my other tasks.”We appreciate your move Kunal.

Even the house is named Ramayan."My father (Shatrughan Sinha) has three brothers - Bharat, Laxman and Ram. And my brothers are named Luv and Kush. So my house is aptly named as Ramayan. Just my mom and I are a misfit in this Ramayan," Sonakshi said.Meanwhile, the actress also broke her silence on her father’s extra-marital affair with yesteryears’ actress Reena Roy, who Sonakshi resembles to. Here is what she said: "I think it happened when I was not even born. I found out when I was growing up and started understanding things. The star-kid recently talked about his childhood memories during the launch of Vimala Veeraraghavan and Shalini Singh's book Teenage Blues, where he went on to admit that his father always treated him as his buddy, and now he wants to be exact same to his daughter, Aaradhya."I wore my father's shoes when I was just 11 and since then he has always been a buddy and his idea of parenting was and he said this to me at a very young age. He said I will never hide anything from you. I will incorporate you in all your decisions and I will always ask you my opinion but your job is to make sure your opinion is something I can listen to," he said.He also revealed that Big B always treated him and his sister as equals. "And he always treated me as equal. Although we knew that we weren't but his behavior towards my sister and I was always the same. There have been speculations since sometime around that the estranged couple of B-town, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is set to join Bollywood. And now the latest buzz has that the teenager already has the permission of her father. But there is a condition that she first completes her education. Saif and Amrita married in 1991, and they share two children - daughter Sara and a son. The couple went separate ways in 2004, and now Saif is happily married to Kareena Kapoor Khan."She is in America in college in Colombia University. She will have a degree and then she is free to choose whatever she wants to do. She can live and work anywhere in the world, she can come back here and join films, or become lawyer. It is upto her," said Saif.The actor-producer also said that her daughter will have his full support if she chooses to become an actress. But he did advice her to lose some weight. "If she chooses to be here then she will have to lose weight. I think it is better to concentrate on education and have some backing. What if you are not successful as an actor? Then you will be stuck with no job also."Though you get lot of things as an actor, there is a lot of pressure. It is not a normal life as you don't have time for the little things in life. I am fine with it but I think college degree is important," he added. At the same time, he revealed that his daughter is his weakness. B-town beauty Lara Dutta, who is currently away from Bollywood, so that she could focus on raising her child, is set to put forth her designing skills as she will soon launch her own sari collection. She says that designing is her new baby."I have done films for 10 years. This is something new that I have forayed into; so it's my new baby. I am excited about the response from the customers," said Lara, who was in Delhi to launch her second sari range in association with Chhabra 555. Married to tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, Dutta, 35, started designing last year, and it was then she created a whole line of saris. "The second collection is far more traditional. Personally I am a big fan of Benarasi saris and many other old-age fabrics; so I wanted to make those weaves younger and contemporary. Normally, we associate Benarasi saris with our aunts and our mothers, but I wanted to give it a younger and trendy feel," she said. Even though she is seen less on silver screen nowadays, Lara has no qualms. "I think each thing has its own space in life. I enjoyed being busy. My priority is my daughter. That will always be my number one priority. Now she is getting older, so I am getting more time to celebrate and concentrate on my own work; so here I am promoting the brand as much as possible," she said. Wish you luck!

Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan, who rarely gets to see in Hindi films, recently appeared in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s action thriller Bullett Raja opposite Saif Ali Khan  and Jimmy Shergil. He says he is a big fan of Tigmanshu’s films and was surprised when he called him for a role in his film.“My jaw dropped when I was first offered Bullett Raja. I met Tigmanshu Dhulia for the first time over dinner in Lucknow. As we were about to finish he said that I was doing his film. I was very happy to be a part of his film. I have been a big fan of him since Haasil. He makes my kind of cinema. The characters in his films are excellent,” said Ravi, who portrayed the role of a woman in Bullett Raja.He says the role was quite challenging. “This has been my most challenging role in the 22 years of my career. I have never played a woman. I also make out with a woman in the film, while wearing a sari. As far as Ram-Leela is concerned, she just loved the film," Deepika said.Padukone, 27, on a personal front, said that she is not looking forward for a relationship at the moment. Hollywood actress Chloe Moretz is very happy with the way her life is going at the moment and says that she may turn rebellious in future, but for now she is in a happy phase. Mortetz, 17, believes in healthy living and she has strong determination that she will not fall foul of the pitfalls of fame."No, not now! Maybe later, who knows? But for now, I`m so happy with my life that I don`t need to be rebellious. I wouldn`t want to jeopardize what I`ve accomplished. Tinseltown actor Robert Di Niro is seen playing memorable characters like The Godfather Part II, Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. However, when he was quizzed about his real-life heroes, he named out Nelson Mandela, Indira Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi.Niro, 70, is presently in Goa, India, where he will be participating at the ongoing THiNK Fest 2013. Sharing his thoughts, he said, "I have many real life heroes as my inspiration. Mandela, Peres, James Dean, Marlon Brando and from India... Indira Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi. They are strong people with a big heart," De Niro said on the sidelines of the festival. "I try to be more empathetic towards my characters. I try to understand its position by putting myself in their shoes. I feel I am lucky to get into these lives without having to pay a real price," he added. When confessed that he doesn’t remember his early film days, he said, "I really don't remember..." He also said that he has no idea why he wanted to be in cinema and he started his career at the age of 16. "I dropped out of school and enrolled in Stella Adler's acting school, to the surprise of my friends and family. When she (Stella) asked me why I joined this profession, I didn't have an answer. She answered on my behalf that since I wanted to express myself so I chose this profession. I nodded and repeated the same line," he said. Speaking of Indian trip, he added, "Indian people are very nice. I came here 35 years ago and promised that I will be back in couple of years. I got busy and even tried to come last year. The youngest, cutest but a non-performer of Bigg Boss house, Pratyusha Banerjee  has been eliminated from the house after a tough vote-out last Saturday. She was in elimination with likes Gauhar Khan, Kamya Punjabi, Tanisha Mukherjee and Ajaz Khan. It was said to be the toughest vote-out of the season, where each contestant was equally important to the show.Talking about the experience on the show, Pratyusha admits that she felt vulnerable and unprotected as one of the inmates. “I was the youngest and I am also a very private person. I connect with very few close friends in real life. Suddenly, I was thrown together with all these people I had never met. Everyone in there was much older than me. It was scary. But it was also a challenge. I’ve come away from the experience much stronger and I’d like to think wiser.”Pratyusha is said to have dropped her popular show Balika Vadhu to participate in Bigg Boss. She added that she have made some good friends in there. “Kamya Punjabi was my best friend in there. I also grew very close to Armaanji (Armaan Kohli), Tanisha Mukherjee and very recently Ajaz Khan who entered Bigg Boss very late. They’re my friends for life.”As for doing another reality show, Pratyusha said, “Not for a very long time. And even if I am offered one, I’d think very carefully before doing it. Right now I only want my old life back.”About some memories in the house, she said, “No one had anything bad to say about me. I’d rather not think about the unpleasant side of the experience. Bigg Boss is the biggest reality-show in India, and perhaps in the world. I went into it on a clean slate. I had completed all my pending assignments and put a closure on personal issues.
