This article is very beneficial for those who like free apps like my classmates in this class. If one has the android phone, they will be provided with 10 free apps that they will use everyday. This would be important for people who need certain things right away and can't afford it, or in a rush and don't have the time to download the apps. For example, a free app that is mentioned in this article is the alarm clock app. You have more than one option to choose from when using this alarm clock, rather than the one built in the phone because it is specifically for alarms. A 26 year old software development student named Glenn Mangham had hacked into a facebook employees account. He claimed he was helping facebook to increase security. He is now going to jail for 8 months,  and facebook had to pay $200, 000 to deal with the hack. This has to do with the class because it deals with computers and using programs to hack into other websites.

this article is about a twenty six year old man named Glenn Mangham who hacked facebook and said it was to help them with their security issues. He was sent to jail for eight months and Facebook spent $200,000 dealing with this hacker. i thought this was interesting because it seemed pretty unbelievable one guy hacked into the biggest social networking site. 

This article talks about HTML5. The HTML5 time element disappeared last year because HTML5 editor lan Hickson deleted it from the specification but the W3C,the group that oversees HTML5, added it back. The W3C didn't just add time back but they also improve it considerably. This article is related to our course because it is all about HTML that we are studying.

just like our class is learning about basic programming, Apple is making a guide to create your first app on your every own iOS device. This is a good program that Apple is doing but i dont feel that paying 99$ a year so that you can publish your own app on the app store

A company called Aereo is a Tv broadcasting website that gives you an antenna and a DVR without actually giving you them. You sign up on their site to get all the tv shows on your tablets,phones, and computers. If this is free, i would honestly sign up but imagine the fees if you were to use your 3g, 4g, or 4G LTE?

I think this is a great idea to do. Zamzar makes it much easier fro us now to read/see things that are emailed to us. It's also more reasonable because almost everyone has smart phones nowadays and if you wanted to read an email on your phone but it needed converting you could just use Zamzar. You wouldn't have to wait until you were able to go home and use your laptop. The only downfall is that you need a paid account on Zamzar if you wanted to convert more than 1MB of files.

This article represents a tool called the AutoHotkey. This is a downloadable program that will help you create shortcuts for system tasks in Windows. This tool can assign hotkeys such as shutting down or restarting your computer, adjusting volume, and opening/closing the CD drive, etc. I find this very convenient for people who use their computers everyday because it arranges a more faster and easier use for system task. It is also very useful for people who are lazy and don't want press buttons on certain areas of the computer or monitor.

In this article Blizzard sues valve over the name DOTA because DOTA was originality a Warcraft 3 mod which they did not create but do hold some control over because it made with their tools. I personally do not like these two amazing company's taking away resources from making their great games but i feel that valve should not be sued because blizzard does not actually own the name and valve hired the people who originally made it

This is what my dad wants me to build for him. This guy uses two computer programs to launch the beer. The first program is in the remote, and it waits for the button to be pushed. Once it is pushed its sends a signal over the air ways to the second program in the fridge telling it to load the beer. When the beer is loaded, the computer program tells it to launch. This relates to our class because the guy uses computer programs to do a task. Later in the course we will learn how to program. 

In this article the smartphone HTC will start having android 4.0 next month this is very interesting because the older phones will be getting this upgrade before the newer devices 

This article basically talks about the plans of microsoft in their kinect technology. This talks about the improvement of it and to use it in other technology and not just for games. This development will help workers that are working in warehouse of manufacturing plant because it will be an ease to them to track their inventory or confirming certain steps in the manufacturing process by using gestures which not require glove removal. If this technology will be developed this can also be used in schools that will help teachers to discuss lessons easily without going back and forth to the computer while presentation.

Well this article is pretty interesting, because it explains how to renew an old ugly horrible computer, into a good computer that can make a huge difference. Microsoft has finally released the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, the successor to the Developer Preview they released a few months ago. In this version, Xbox Live support has been added, along with the Windows Store opening for business, which lets users download new Metro apps... but not Desktop apps. Also, the Start Button has been moved to this slide-out panel to the right of the screen. I think Microsoft is taking a huge misstep with Windows 8 in terms of it's UI. They should either have all desktop or all Metro UI. Having used Windows 8, switching between the two is just weird because of how incredibly different both interfaces are. And don't even get me started with the freakin' ARM version not letting you sideload apps! And- and- and-... I'll stop complaining now.
