Some of the big themes throughout the stories we read have been lack of money, realizing adulthood and just not being excepted. Many have a similar theme to Blind Melon's No Rain with them both having characters that just don't fit in with many groups. The stories that focused on younger character directly connects to "The Teen Brain" and in a sense the all connected some way or another the Jellybean video.

The most important questions are how can I be the most comfortable in life both emotionally, physically and mentally along with the question of how do I want to spend my days on earth. I believe traps are something you just have to think about the costs and benefits and weigh them out and see what you want to do.

It's been 20 hard days since we landed on this mystery of a planet. Nothing on this rock makes sense. We came here as scared refugees from our morbid battleground of a planet. Our ship had already almost rotted completely to dust by now due to the odd liquid we had landed in. It is now approaching night, me and the two other starving refugees haven't eaten for days.

I am from the metropolis floating above the water.
Night is always day while the city lights are nighttime sun.
Where iron pythons run like rockets darting to your destination.
Where concrete is our earth and steel hits our sky.

The reason I believe them to find the torture of their damnation in one another is that there entire reality will be consumed by something they have no control over, but will constantly have every emotion they feel expressed toward them. Their torture will be intensified because all of the characters in "No Exit" are incredibly self centered, leading to without a doubt an afterlife of what they will soon find as constant annoyance and aggravation which will only multiply as what the characters perceive as time persists.

Sure Sammy quit his job because he thought his boss was a jerk and he was trying to impress some girls, but I believe the real reason was for him to be a metaphor paraded by the author to represent sexual frustration and anger developed because of social classes. Long before Sammy quit his job the author immersed the reader in his frustrations to build up to a climax. Sammy quitting his job was written much more as a social commentary than an interesting end for a short story.
