My favorite story is The Wall because it showed the random life and the darkness of humanity. The description of Ibbeta from scare to release tells that realize ourselves and the situation is the way to help us to get out the trap.

I think the huge amount of the 5 paragraph essay is the most meaningful assignment because it gave me a lot of practice and correct the problem of grammar and organization.

I think i learned confidence to speak English and the ability to handle the nervous. It also told me how to put emotion and deep thought into my works

The 5 paragraph taught me that the tension on details is the key to make a good essays, and revise is also important to write a good essays.

I think that I have become a speaker after the practice of poems, I am able to deliver my poem well and command the room without nervous.

I think i still need to work on my skill on details, i always make little mistakes which can bring the quality of my works down.

The ideas in ZeFrank's video "The Teen Brain" are that human are emotional creatures. Most of time emotion will control human before the logical thinking, teens are the classics examples that are more easy to controlled by emotions because of the lack of enough development of teen's brain compare to adults, and that is why teens are likely do things more impulsively. Therefore "The Teen Brain' is relate to "Emotional Intelligence 2.0" by Travis Bradberry and Jean Greaves because of the common argument on the importance of emotion. "The Teen Brain" shows us that the we are emotional creature and it is causing the problem. Emotional Intelligence 2.0 tells us the specific to practice the emotional intelligence.

EQ is important for both teens and adults is that we can practice EQ. IQ is a important way to value people's learning ability, but we can't change it. EQ is the ability that we can practice and it is important for our daily life, such as socialize, handle the stress and how to deal with the problems.

The big ideas of those works we read are that human struggles by the trap that made by themselves.Human are struggle to face and solve the problem, and it because of the lack of awareness for themselves. For instance, in the "Twilight Zone-Five Characters in Search of an Exit", characters were trying to get out from the box.Audience realizes that they are toys after one of them got out. In the No Exit, Three characters can escape from the hell, but the lack of awareness of themselves and the scare to face the real themselves trapped all three forever. Those works tell us that we need to know ourselves in order to helps us to find the right direction, or we will be trapped just like the toys in the video and the characters in the No Exit. For instance, Ibbieta in The Wall who had the courage to face the death and realized the meaning of life survived. Therefor, self awareness are important for human to get out the trap that could decide our faith.

I think the universe is huge trap and I could not change anything of it, so I am learning more about myself and the society in order to have the ability to face the problem that universe might give to me. I think the question i want to ask is that am I being honest to myself. I also believe that I know myself well and keep learning would not help me to avoid the trap, but it would help me to find the way to get out of trap

The significant difference between poor and rich which shows on the quality of the overcoat, the hypocritical in humanity that people use coats to cover the truth, the vanity shows on people wants to have a better overcoat to show off. Gogol is criticizing the huge gap between the rich and poor. For instance, in the story,"They offered the mother her choice of three names, " all those names are poor'(1). it showed that poor people can not even choose a name and the name they give to are labeled as poor.It tells the evilness dictatorship in Russia. The significance of the overcoat is that the coat mocks the hierarchy society that the coat is a important measurement that people value others. And it also implies that the coldness and darkness of the society that people need coat to keep alive.Akaky's ghost haunt the people of St. Petersburg because of the cold blood reaction to his struggles, nobody cares and nobody helps him which lead to his death later. so Akaky is revenging the merciless society by taking their coat which is an important item for them.

No one can grantee there is a real hell exit, just like Stare named his play No Exit which implied that the hell in book is not exit. He used hell to describe the dark and evil deep inside people. He thinks that people's mind and unpredictable and brutal which is exactly same as the hell. In the play No Exit, three characters are both dead because other people's action. In the end, No one got out of the hell, because they did not listen or care each other. This is why Sartre kept repeat that those three need to work together to get out the hell, because the hell likes a place where people lost the hope, the future and themselves. The light will lead them out of hell If they all change themselves and learn things from each others. They all lost themselves who they really are by other people's action and they all suffer in the hell because they did not find each others like a mirror to change and free themselves. Some people make you lost yourselves, but you can find yourselves from other people. This is why Sartre saying that hell is other people.

This quote showed that world is not fair, because fate sent people to that hell's situation and not let them die. They can only see the island but it almost impossible to reach the island. Oiler died, but he is hardest worker and best swimmer. So the world is not fair for him which makes it relate to Crane's worldview.

I think Sammy's action at the end of A&P were decent, because teenagers should have more courage to try new things. People are going think that was stupid or reckless, but who want to work 50 years more in a boring shop since they are teenagers. that is the choice most people would do.
    Motive
I think he wants to quit his job very earlier, because it is boring that work in A&P shop. Sammy needs to find a opportunity to quit his job. The queen in three girls lighted Sammy's passion that has covered in his heart for too long.We can see the shop is traditional since people are not allow to wear bikini in the store. So Author was implying that world has changed so fast. Nobody can reject the new things form outside world as a teenagers.

I can see that Sammy knows and ready for the consequence after quit his job. He knows how cruel the world are, but he still choose to face it to deal it. I think that took a lot of courage, and i like his choice. Nobody knows what's going happen to him after he gave up his job, but i definitely know that his life was meaningless if he choose to stay in A&P.
