This article has given two individuals to present their arguments for and against the Healthcare Insurance Law. Karen Davenport presents her arguments supporting the health care law and the individual mandate; Michael Cannon presents his arguments particularly against the individual mandate and the claim that the mandate will lower costs of medical care.

Psychologically it is said that we have many social scripts, in other words we do not act the same exact way around our parents as we do our boss or our friends. Companies that use social media are attempting to view how you live your life outside of work, how you act out that social script. But why should that matter? Regardless if you put pictures of Saturday night drinking it does not mean that this who you are in the office, they are two completely different script and for the general population they are unrelated.

I think employers should look at social media networks, people should always present themselves in a professional look, because there behaviors affect the company, on the clock or off

Kansas City, MO has passed legislation to allow anyone who is under the age of 31, was brought here before the age of 16, is in school or the military, and has no criminal record to live here without any reprecussions. They are not eligible for a visa, greencard, etc, but can renew their application every two years. This is considered to be a huge victory, but they want the same rights for their parents.

It is broke. I think we should look at the way Israel handles their airport security.

However, I relate to this a great deal since this past May & June I went to Afghanistan - and I was traveling with an Afghan citizen. I understand why they would be more cautious. Our coming back flight stopped in Dubai and we expected to have problems coming into the USA, but we also faced issues in Amsterdam. We were questioned a little longer than the other people - almost missed the flight because of it, twice - in Amsterdam & in the USA to coming to Phoenix. However, it did not bother us - we knew we would face issues. I don't even know how many times I was x-rayed - or how much time we spent talking to officials a little longer than everyone else and it happened everywhere we stopped, not only in the USA! I agree with these terms of not being so strict when leaving the USA, but coming back I could understand why the security was a little tighter.

SOPA is bill designed to stop foreign websites that promote piracy. In doing so, websites would be prohibitted from showing advertisements to links with pirated content. This bill is still waiting to be voted on.

A legal suit challenging the repeal of the "dont' ask, don't tell" policy was thrown out.
