Great website for law professors to blog on their interpretations of not only 1070 but other controversial laws.

This site gives gun laws of each state and if there are any permits, training, or other requirements needed by these laws.  The authors of the site make it a point to share all the different laws in each state to inform those who may not know of them.  This helps to prevent any law breaking due to traveling with a gun.

This author has an argument against our Government on how there shouldn't be so many laws.

Greg Merle does a wonderful job of pointing out the facts that lead to the question are we really free? He lists a few restrictions the government puts on the American people.

Arizona Law - Illegal immigration is still in controversy on how Law Enforcement will conduct proper immigration stauts checks. Having the proper procedures in place can elimanate other legal matters concerning racing profiling.

Arizona immigration laws have consistently supported racial profiling and make it difficult for legal Latinos to avoid being harassed, interrogated and detained unlawfully. State laws should be fair and adhere with constitutional freedoms afforded all citizens. If you're an American citizen, you're afforded the same rights as other citizens and should not be detained unlawfully because you "look like an immigrant". This is where Arizona crosses the line with it's immigration laws.

I understand how these immigration laws here in Arizona can make people feel, however i feel like if i have nothing to hide whats the problem. I still don't like the fact that it makes it so easy for police to racial profile because its almost insulting to get pulled over for no reason except skin color. I have seen cops pull people over just for skin color, especially in the northern part of Arizona and its wrong.

This article discusses the recent North Carolina Voter ID law. Republicans claim the law will reduce voter fraud while democrats claim the law will illegally target minorities and the poor. Included in the Voter ID law are provisions that severely limit early voting that President Obama and democrats have used to gain an advantage over Republicans. Several states are considering passing laws like a bill that was recently passed in Tennessee outlawing parts of Islamic Shariah law. Shariah law is an Islamic way of settling disputes while taking religious tenets into account. Polygamy is a battle of both religion and rights for both types of people who are for or against polygamy. The author states the history behind the laws against polygamy as well as the battle between Reynolds and the US for it to be allowed due to the religious beliefs of Mormons. Reynolds was convicted and charged for polygamy, which in turn, ended it everywhere in the US; especially in Utah. Several times, the Reynolds Law has been challenged, but those who have challenged the law have failed.
