Adoption Services, Gay and Lesbian Adoptions - 1 views

  •
In the last 10 years, it has become more acceptable and easier to adopt if you're a single man or openly gay or lesbian. Before attitudes began changing, though, that group of citizens were generally only able to adopt if they hid their sexual identity. Some fear that it would expose young children to "inappropriate" sexual themes, however modern 20th century history often isn't taught until junior year of high school.
