    Picasa is a great way to organize photos into timelines and albums either on your computer or online. Picasa can be used to edit photos and add text. Movies, collages, slideshows can be made. photos and items made from picasa can be used by parents, teachers, and children. Teachers can document the progress and activities throughout the school year. Children can use Picasa for showing off their projects or documenting their own personal progress.

    This is free easy photo sharing and also works for Macs. Parents and children could conceivably use it at home to make illustrated books with captions since there is a caption writing feature.

    Photostory is unbelievably user friendly and could be used in any classroom to help a child integrate their outside of school experience inside the classroom. It's a good way to get children to learn about the way that other families live and it brings a sense of community to the classroom when a Photostory is shared and everyone knows a little bit more about that individual.

    I actually downloaded this software recently. It was extremely easy to use and fun to play with. I created a couple of slideshows involving my siblings, and shared with my family via the email and they enjoyed it. I like how easy it is to share and how creative you can get with it. I feel that children could use this with some assistance, but they will be thrilled with the end result. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

    Snapfish has a really neat way where teachers and parents can communicate with each other by posting thier pictures to a secure room. It is a really great way for parents to share pictures of their vacations, outings, or fun adventures they experience with the class. There is also a way that parents can take their child's artwork and turn it into calendars, purses, etc.

    Snapfish is an online place to print, share, and create with your digital photos. Post and share your photos with a group, class, team, or club. All photos and students' work can be posted and published in one convenient room. This is a great way for teachers, parents, and students to get to know one another by sharing their photos, in a safe and secure room. There are also great tips and ideas for taking pictures, projects, and gifts.

    This site is used to create images/text using Word Mosaic, Flower Text, Sketchpad, and Poetry Blender. You can also edit photos and add special frmaes aroudn photos. Photo and video editing can be done on this site as well. I enjoyed this site and it's easy to use. Many topics can be covered using this site, however, only some of the functions are appropriate for young children.

    This website is good for sharing images and videos. This would be a good tool for teachers to use to find photos related to their lesson plans or to upload photos from the classroom so parents could see. I do agree that the website should be reviewed outside of the classroom.

    This website is a really awesome website to share photos, and it is free (you also have the option to subscribe). You have the ability to upload and share videos, photos, and slide shows etc. I think it would be cool to use in a classroom to show photos of the kids and their activities to the parents!

    This is a website that allows teachers to create collages out of photographs. These collages can be used as wallpaper and can also be put on different objects such as mousepads and coffee mugs to be purchased from the website. This is a great way for teachers to be able to display photos of the students and even photos of the students' artwork.

    With this site you can paint, draw, edit photos, put artwork on your blog or website using the art player, and create graffiti. There are activities that children of all ages can take part in, but this site would seem to benefit older children more than younger children.     Jimdo allows you to make a free webpage. The homepage includes an instructional video with a brief overview of website creation. Overall the website is very easy to navigate. Jimdo can be used to create a class or teacher webpage. Photos or videos of class activities can be uploaded onto the webpage as well. The table creation tool could allow the teacher to create a class schedule for parents to access online.

    Site for sharing ideas, photos, stories. Anyone can access the blogsite, like any other website. Comments can be made on the blogs by the viewers. This tool allows the creator to personalize the page with themes and gadgets. This site could be used by teachers within the classroom for older students to do writing projects. Blogger could also be used as a parent/teacher collaboration tool in early childhood settings.

    With this site you can create a face using various types of eyes, noses, lips, ears, eyebrows and hair. Once you have created a face you can manipulate it by scaling it up or down, rotating or flipping it. You also have the option to save your picture and email it to friends and family. Overall, I think this is a good site for children to explore creative technology. My biggest concerned was I could not find a statement on who the target audience was. For this reason be sure to carefully watch children when they are at this site.

    I really liked and enjoyed this website! I liked the freedom to personalize the face I was creating. With the editing tools of color and scaling up and down, I was able to create numerous completely different faces. I think this activity could be great for older children and could let them explore all of the options online art sites can offer.
