From Gretchen Schroeder: What I like about WordWeb Online is its ability to do "fuzzy" spelling suggesting words close to the spelling you entered. Cross linking to related words, and if it doesn't find a word in its, more than 300,000 word database, it will search the web for definitions for you. It is also available in both an iApp and an Android app.
A great new resource from the creator of 'A Maths Dictionary for Kids'. Download and print beautifully designed and wonderfully useful maths posters on a good range of topics. Your classroom walls will never be the same again.

The American Heritage® Dictionary invites you to create a self-portrait using your words.
The words that tell the world who you are. That make you, you. It's easy to do, whether you decide to link to places like Facebook for words you've already written or write something new specifically for your portrait. Either way, you'll create a unique image that can be shared and saved and will remind everyone that You Are Your Words.
Look up words to find their meanings and associations with other words and concepts. Produce diagrams reminiscent of a neural net. Learn how words associate.
The visual appeal is great, but watch out for inappropriate images with younger students! Just type in the word "apology" and watch what comes up. Maybe, there's a way to filter images?
Get children into the habit of structuring their formal letters correctly by using this template which prompts for information when required. There is no spell-checker available, so children will need to rely on a good old fashioned dictionary.
