WHO places this in a category known as 2B. Mind, coffee and pesticide DDT are also classified as "possibly carcinogenic to humans." Placing calls rather than emailing or texting has been proved that the risk is higher since the radio frequency energy is higher. Even though the evidence is limited, many countries advise children especially should limit their use of cellphones. The United Kingdom, German, Belgium, Israel, Russia, France, Canada, and India are all included. James McNamee, division chief for health effects and assessments in Health Canada's bureau of consumer and clinical radiation protection, said, "There has been relatively little science done on children and children's cellphone use, and children are going to be using these devices for a much larger period of their life span. Their brains and immune systems are still developing." Health Canada said cellphone users may take practical steps to reduce exposure, such as: Limit the length of cellphone calls. Our eyes are very badly affected by how long you stare at that bright screen. We stop blinking and start staring which makes our eyes strain and dry out. Make sure you look away from the screen and close them for a few seconds every few minutes. We can find many information about eyes health, as Snuz made. And it’s very important not to forget about our eyes while working on computer. 2. Bad Posture Bad posture is enemy number one. Check your posture now! You should be able to reach the keyboard and mouse whilst bending your elbows at 90 degrees, with your shoulders relaxed. If you are stretching, this could cause problems. Your back should be straight and the top of the monitor should be just below eye level. If your monitor is to the left or right of your keyboard you are putting strain on your neck. Long periods of time at the computer while blogging, working or reading often leads to pain in the lumbar region of the back. Neck and shoulder problems also result from poor seating and the poor organization of equipment on the desk (stretching for the telephone or files etc). 3. Computer Stress Injuries Many people suffer from structural problems related to the physical stress of sitting incorrectly, or for too long in front of their computers. So there are chances you’ve experienced a fair amount of computer stress, from minor frustrations here and there to a virtual visit to computer hell. High levels of stress can kill you, don’t make mistakes! Highly stressful workers have a higher risk of developing heart diseases and even cancer. So make sure that you can manage your stress. Start making something to reduce it, don’t wait till computer stress will be the main problem in your life. Taking frequent breaks is an important step in preventing repetitive computer stress injuries. Thus, it shows up that there are several problems that occur with prolonged computer use. Rich always had his cell phone on his head or in his pocket! Like millions of other kids he had used it for the last several years. His tumor was on the right side of his head, and he was right handed! Rich was also a graduate student at SDSU in San Diego,CA. In March of 09, articles were written about Rich and one other man that died in 2008 from glioblastoma, one died in the 90's from glio, and one is currently battling a malignant brain tumor. The articles are about a particular building and room on SDSU campus. 'Nasatir, room 131.' I found these articles in August 09. I KNOW, cell phone use caused my Son's cancer and the public needs to take this Very seriously! There is a cell tower next to this building, room, also! The, "It won't happen to me," attitude needs to be changed!! Everyone heed my WARNING! It can happen to any one! This has destroyed our lives!   • Adult literacy/basic education/ESOL students are beginning to use the Internet. An increasing number are very interested in using it for a wide range of purposes: for learning (e.g. to improve reading and writing skills, or take a course;) to access a wide variety of information (e.g. information about the weather, health, travel, other cultures, American news, and -- in the case of ESOL students -- news from their native countries;) for classes at school; for shopping; to communicate with friends, family members, other students, or key pals; for entertainment; for virtual travel; and for the sense of control and power one can feel when using a computer and the Internet. Adult students appear to experience many of the same kinds of difficulties in using the Internet that their teachers do: problems getting access and getting online; having the system crash for a variety of reasons; difficulty figuring out how to navigate online; problems with online and hardcopy instructions; finding out-of-date information at sites; and reading on-screen. Some students also cited problems with their keyboard skills.
