At Coomera Anglican College, teachers are using the CyberSafety Net as a combined Scope and Sequence and curriculum, embedded into RaVE (Religious and Values Education) , PC (Pastoral Care), PD (Personal Development) and homework tasks (Religious and Values Education), and implemented at school and during homework activities."

This site is comparable to the Australian cybersmart.gov.au site. It supports and is explicit in its content and could easily be embedded into any curriculum or policy where digital citizenship is being explored.

This is a free tool for teachers to plot lessons using a blank canvas. Drop and drag You Tube clips easily searched within the site. Add images, files etc. Best of all you can see what others have designed and do a search on digital citizenship and there are some great canvases to use with your students.

Interesting read that identifies students abilities to engage and use technology for social media but are they effective in using these technologies for their learning. Identifies the need for teacher PD in these issues.
