super-personalized and hyper efficiency will totally effect how we advertise and how we take in advertise
  •
A Forbes article that looks shallowly at a group of very in-depth suggested trends that seem to be a little far and high reaching, but I do agree that they are on point. I can see that this article is correct, but it will take more than one year for the commonplace Internet user to realize how it has infiltrated their every day Internet experience.

Everyone has different needs, and the social landscape is shifting accordingly.
  •
One good (though obvious) point they make is that each of these platforms fits into the life of the user in a different way. Five years ago it was somewhat winner-take-all in terms of user base, but that's no longer the case. Facebook Will Needs Permission From WhatsAppers To Use Data - 1 views

  •
This is a very big deal - most times when apps get bought out, their privacy policies are largely dismissed or completely changed. Due to the massive popularity and international use of WhatsApp, this is not a possibility. So the question is, if there will be no ads or information selling, how will Facebook make a profit with this aquisition? How can we as interactives sell this product?
