The Canadian Dance Assembly (CDA) is a national arts service organization dedicated to serving the professional dance community in Canada.\n\nThe CDA exists to facilitate the dynamic exchange of information relevant to Canadian professional dance of all forms and aesthetics.\n\nWe strive to cultivate a strong national voice for Canadian professional dance and to support the development of resources for this field of artistic expression.

The International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) is the global network of arts councils and ministries of culture. IFACCA aims to benefit artists, arts organisations and communities worldwide. Our vision is a dynamic network, sharing knowledge and creating understanding to enrich a world of artistic and cultural diversity.

The Foundation for Community Dance is the UK development agency for access, participation and progression in dance for all.

The Artful Manager seeks a new set of metaphors for the administrative leaders of arts and culture. There is a need for business thinking, to be sure, with an intensity and deftness we have only begun to understand. But there is also an energy beyond money and markets that the artful manager must channel. What if, in the end, the arts organization is not a problem to be managed, but an instrument to be played?

ICACD Secretariat was established in 2005 as an advocacy body committed to pushing forward cultural considerations into the policy development framework of Africa.

Since its inception, one mission of the AACM has been to provide an atmosphere conducive to the development of its member artists and to continue the AACM legacy of providing leadership and vision for the development of creative music. The AACM first coined the phrase Great Black Music to describe its unique direction in music. The AACM pays homage to the diverse styles of expression within the body of Black Music in the USA, Africa and throughout the world. This experience extends from the ancient musics of Africa to the music of the future.

As studies of African and Afro-Caribbean performance have acquired a wider relevance during the last decade, it is now time to examine the diverse critical approaches currently being practiced within these fields. How are African and Afro-Caribbean cultures being constructed, analyzed, and re-imagined by recent discussions about theatricality, transnationalism, diaspora, translation, Circum-Atlantic exchanges, or cyberspaces? The conference's program will bring together a diverse array of presenters from Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, and the United States who deal with topics that include--among others--dance, drama, community theater, the links between social justice and performance, rituals, religious events, diasporas, carnival, and intercultural barterings.

African Theatre and Performance WG will work to further the understanding and appreciation of African Theatre and Performance by facilitating and maintaining scholarly discourse and collaborative research in the fields of African theatre and performance.

La Chaire de gestion des arts Carmelle et Rémi-Marcoux contribue à l'élargissement des connaissances en réalisant des recherches sur une diversité de sujets liés à la gestion des arts dont les résultats font l'objet de publications. Elle contribue ainsi à faire reconnaître la spécificité des problèmes que pose la gestion des arts et des industries culturelles.

Dance Films Association, Inc. (DFA), a non-profit, tax-exempt, member-supported service organization, promotes excellence in dance on camera and public awareness of the artform through its annual Dance on Camera Festival, Dance Film Lab, publications, grants, and workshops. Its many partners help to bring its touring programs to a wide public. Dance on camera is a collaborative art, one that fuses the ageless art of dance and the century old art of film. DFA aims to impart that spirit of collaboration to the world and to encourage a keen awareness of the magical ways to interpret time, space, and energy.
