The Ghana Cultural Fund (GCF) is governed by a framework between the Royal Danish Embassy in Ghana and the Danish Centre for Culture and Development (DCCD) in Denmark. The GCF has a total budget of 5.65 million GH Cedis and it is scheduled to run for three years 2007 - 2009. The objective of the fund is to strengthen inter cultural relations, mutual understanding and promotion of democratic values among the people of Ghana through inter-cultural expressions and interactions. It is also to foster Ghanaian/Danish collaborations through the contemporary Arts and the preservation of our shared cultural heritage.

The Institute for Music and Development (IMD) welcomes you to its unique world of learning experiences, adventure and cultural excitement.\nIMD intends to serve a need for those who wish to go beyond the obvious events of everyday life into the very fabric of the psyche of traditional peoples, their worldview, the creative arts and the various structures that constitute what they perceive as their world. Above all, IMD's philosophy is guided by the importance of authenticity and credibility in its activities.\nOur scope encompasses advocacy and the development of the music industry within the context of an African Music Network. As educators, our interest in youth development, projects and programs is paramount in and integral to our work. Therefore we welcome educators, students, researchers, and music professionals to this site.
