The Foundation for Community Dance is the UK development agency for access, participation and progression in dance for all.

Since 1969, VLA has been the leading provider of pro bono legal services, mediation, educational programs and publications, and advocacy to the arts community in New York and beyond. Through public advocacy, VLA frequently acts on issues vitally important to the arts community-freedom of expression and the protections to artists under the First Amendment being an area of special expertise and concern. As studies of African and Afro-Caribbean performance have acquired a wider relevance during the last decade, it is now time to examine the diverse critical approaches currently being practiced within these fields. How are African and Afro-Caribbean cultures being constructed, analyzed, and re-imagined by recent discussions about theatricality, transnationalism, diaspora, translation, Circum-Atlantic exchanges, or cyberspaces? The conference's program will bring together a diverse array of presenters from Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, and the United States who deal with topics that include--among others--dance, drama, community theater, the links between social justice and performance, rituals, religious events, diasporas, carnival, and intercultural barterings.

The Canadian Dance Assembly (CDA) is a national arts service organization dedicated to serving the professional dance community in Canada.\n\nThe CDA exists to facilitate the dynamic exchange of information relevant to Canadian professional dance of all forms and aesthetics.\n\nWe strive to cultivate a strong national voice for Canadian professional dance and to support the development of resources for this field of artistic expression.

The International Theatre Institute (ITI), an international non-governmental organization (NGO) was founded in Prague in 1948 by UNESCO and the international theatre community. A worldwide network, ITI aims "to promote international exchange of knowledge and practice in theatre arts (drama, dance, music theatre) in order to consolidate peace and solidarity between peoples, to deepen mutual understanding and increase creative co-operation between all people in the theatre arts".
