This is so interesting! I love looking at rankings like these to get a chance to see what you want to travel and see! the "Get your dig on" one is very funny!
  •
This list was hilarious and so cool! I love that there is an amusement park solely for China's dwarf population. Loved looking through the list.
  •
Like this a lot. Definitely added these to the bucket list.

As a kid I have always enjoyed an escape to a theme park, and these theme parks are so different yet uniquely engaging in their own way. Shame there weren't more like them where I grew up.

What gorgeous imagery! It was hard to believe that these images aren't digital, but from film. The colors and textures are stunning. As a mixed-media photographic artist, I found Fayman's work particularly fascinating. Thank you for posting.

At 6,450 feet above sea level, Red Rocks Park is a unique transitional zone where the Great Plains meet the Rocky Mountains. I always liked to visit science museums and exhibitions since I was a kid because there are always a lot of fun science exhibitions combined with arts. I didn't know there was such museum near UofO and I think science museum for children is a great place for families to visit on weekends. Seemed like they have some classes and camps occasionally, and I would wanted to participate in one of those events if I were still a kid. I hope many children will have a chance to visit such science museum and have many impacts on science/art and learn a lot of stuff there.

Eugene Cuthbert Summer Concert Series - 0 views

  •
This is my absolute favorite place to spend time during the summer months! The Cuthbert has never disappointed me in terms of quality live music. The concerts are always reasonably priced and are decently regulated for the most part so families can attend. The atmosphere is unlike any other venue in Oregon and I highly recommend making a concert part of your summer agenda if you are living in Eugene this summer. "A beautiful concert venue with a capacity of 5,000, The Cuthbert Amphitheater offers everyone an opportunity to enjoy live music outdoors during spectacular Oregon summers. Located in Eugene, Oregon at the edge of Alton Baker Park near the University of Oregon's Autzen Stadium, The Cuthbert features superb sound, beer gardens, food booths and an environment perfect for enjoying superb music performed live by the best touring bands in the country."

Pier-2 Art Center-About Pier-2 - 0 views

  •
Pier-2 means the second transport pier. Located within the third ship trench in Kaohsiung harbor and built in 1973, it was originally a general purpose harbor warehouse. In 2000, this space full of experimental possibilities was discovered when authority was looking for a space to set up firecrackers for the Independence Day celebration.
  •
This is the best translation website I can found. I'm not sure if this is appropriate to share something in another country, but I just found this place interesting to share. Even though the website do not have complete translation but there are brief idea about this place. It is an abandon warehouse that is turn into a showcase center. I have been to this place many times and every time they have a different exhibition going on. And the shop and park around has been decorated into a really inspiriting place for arts.

"The Vancouver Farmers Market is Southwest Washington's #1 visitor attraction and home to over 200 vendors. You'll discover fresh and local produce, flowers, plants, baked goods, delicious food, pet treats, and accessories for yourself, home, or garden from our unique artisans." One of my favorite attractions of my home town, this saturday market really captures the aspect of this sector that we discussed in class regarding 'branding'; it advertises the fresh local produce along with selections of wine from local vendors.

When I was younger I visited the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. I believe it was then that sparked my interest in aerial vehicles that I have had and continued to have today. I have the arts and cultural world to thank for that.

Vancouver Recycled Arts Festival - 0 views

  •
Vancouver will be hosting a recycled arts festival from June 28-29. There will be over 120 artists with stage perfumers, jugglers, and clowns. Nothing like mixing some good music with some good art. This is promoting the practice of recycling as well which I think is really important to show to people, and how recycled works can be just as good as those who use new materials only. It would be cool to see how one's trash develops into an artists treasure.

Art in San Jose: Memorable cities make art a priority - 1 views

  •
When we think about the world's great cities, the features that we remember are their beautiful parks, buildings and art. It's unlikely we think about their balanced budgets or their ability to attract jobs. In fact, one reason that the world's great cities enjoy vibrant economies is because people are drawn to beautiful places.
