Show tags in sidebar's bookmarks - 81 views

Hi Graham,
I have seen your different answers about the tags in the sidebar. I have to go with the users who would like to see this feature. I agree that the diigo.com page is more powerful, but I work faster with the sidebar on next to the pages I browse, and this why I would love to see a cloud tag in the sidebar. This wouldn't be as resource-intensive as a dynamic search feature ("search-as-you-type") but it would allow to find quickly a bookmark.
What I love about diigo is the ability it gives me to make a notebook of my browser : I can have instant access to pages on the web which I bookmarked, annotated and/or shared. If I could have access to all this while browsing (the wide screens are good for this) it just would be perfect! This is a vision that I have seen on no other website, and which I think is really powerful.
I really hope that this feature (the tag cloud/list) will be taken into consideration for the next versions of Diigo!
Thank you again for the great work!

Poll in Forums? - 12 views

Hello,
I'd like to propose to add polls to the forum. Indeed, polling is totally part of sharing knowledge and discussing topics. For example, in the newly created group "Réagissez" (http://groups.diigo.com/groups/reagissez) I encourage french-speaking people to post articles about politics, ecology etc which makes them react (pros & cons). I'd like to continue some of the discussions in the forum, and I'd like to know the average opinion of the group members for the subject, like for example in the last articles I posted, about the use of the TASER.
So could polls be a feature that the diigo team is considering adding to the service?
(I'm realizing it could be available in forums or separate, just another feature of the groups)
Thanks for your great work!
Feature Request:Diigolet in the preview - 28 views

Hi Mahsaito, Hi Joel,
I agree with you Mahsaito, we should be able to add/modify notes from the preview. That's where Diigo is really powerful : it could be a virtual notebook of pages you have bookmarked.
For my part, I can't even figure the way to show the highlightings and sticky notes on my bookmarks preview. If it is not implemented yet, in this case it should be prerequisite for the request here above. But maybe I'm missing something here : is there a way to show it right now? Can you tell me?
Thank you,
Nadege
