I have been trying to add members to my teacher console for the last three days. Each time I get an error message. I have sent a feedback email to Diigo, but to date I have not had a reply. The people at Diigo are looking forward to hearing from me, but I would like to hear from them! Here is the error message:

I have done a search in the help pages, but can not find information to my question. What is the "Permalink" button on the left hand side of the Diigo screen used for? When I click the button I get a url. Thanks
Have just updated to Firefox 4.0.1. Unfortunately my filter does not show in the diigo toolbar. If I go to add another filter, using the same list I get a message that I already have the filter. I have created another filter, but this too is not visible.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have restored the default set, but still the problem. If I go to add the filter again, I am informed that the filter is already present. But I can not see it! I will send an email.
I give up! I have tried to work out this problem, but I can not fix it. It has only happend since I update the Firefox 4.0.1 I should have stayed with the earlier version. The filter is visible however in Internet Explorer. But I prefer to use Firefox.
This issue must only be a problem with Firefox 4.0.1, on a computer with Windows Vista (my desktop computer). On my laptop, running Windows 7 and Firefox 4.0.1 the filter icon is showing in my Diigo toolbar.
If I go to Toolbar button on the Diigo toolbar, then select Toolbar Button Text Labels, then select an option, then Ok, then the Filter I have predefined shows on the Diigo toolbar. Everything works okay. However, when I close the Firefox browser and reopen it, the filter is not visible on the toolbar. How can I fix this problem?
Thanks for the reply. I have located the Profiles folder and there are several items contained within the folder. Do you want me to send you one particular file or the entire contents of the Profile folder?
Thanks for the info. I have worked out that after I move the bookmarks around, I must close the browser and reopen it in order to see the changes in my filter folder on the toolbar.
Hello, I have upgraded to Firefox 3.3.13 and the Diigo tool bar is not working. It was working in my previous version of Firefox. I have installed the tool bar again, but nothing!
If I go to my add-ons section, then options for the diigo add on, I am able to check different options, then ok, but nothing else happens. Eg "restart".
Thanks sandy_diigo for the suggestions. Unfortunately they did not work. I have got the toolbar working by doing a complete uninstall of Firefox, removing the fodlers on the hard drive and then doing a complete reinstall. (Prior to this, I even restored my Windows system to a few days ago, but the problem was still present.) Thinking back, I have worked out that I installed the updated Freemake Video Downloader extension to my browser and this was the start of my problems. In addition, my tabs in the browser were also playing tricks.
I have a "two arrow head" link (Quick Access Filter) on the Diigo toolbar menu to a List which contains bookmarks to locations which I regulary visit. I visit one web site. However, I click the "two arrow head" link again, but nothing drops down.
I must go to the Diigo drop down menu on the left hand side of the toolbar and then refresh toolbar data in order to use the (Quick Access Filter) drop down menu again.
I am using Firefox 3.6.12 with Vista Home Premium.
I am using Firefox Mozilla and also Internet Explorer.
If I click on the Diigo button, top left hand side of the Diigo toolbar, the drop down menu appears. I move the mous to My Lists, the different lists I have created are visible. I click on a liste name and the list of "bookmarks" open in a new browser tab. I then click on a "bookmark" to access the particular url.
An improvement would be, through the drop down menu operation, I could actually see a drop down menu with all the "bookmarks" in the selected list and then click on the "bookmark" without having to open the entire list page in my browser.
What do other users think of this suggestion? Or is the option currently available, but I do not know how to achieve this function?
I am using the same version of Firefox and Diigo as Mel Roth, but I am unable to see Options | Miscellaneous | Detect Media I would like to turn this feature off.
I agree with Graham Penn, when signing up to Diigo I too was under the impression I could save docs to my acount. However, not the case. This would be an added bonus, if this was the case.
I am fairly new to diigo and found the features extremely useful. My wish list for an added improvement would be the ability to store/save documents online. That way I could access them easily between computers and locations.
"Considering the bookmark orientation at http://www.diigo.com/index maybe you could request categorisation as something other than 'social network'. (Is Delicious categorised in the same way?) "
I have not checked out Delicious, will have to explore and look at the categorisation.
I am only new to diigo, as a result, I am only learning the features which are available. The way I would move bookmarks from the same list, into different sections is to use the Up/Down option on the right of the screen for each bookmark.
However, I have not been able to work out how to move a bookmark from one list to another list, apart from saving the bookmark in the "new list" and then deleting the bookmark in the original list.
Pardon my ignorance, but I can not see the "Post to Diigo tool". Where might I find this?
Since reading your post, I have worked out though, the option to "Bookmark this link to Diigo", when I right mouse click on a link at a webpage which opens a Word doc. The bookmark is then saved in my Diigo bookmarks.
However, with regard to docs, how do I save to this option and how do I display an icon in My Library/My Items area of the display?
I have started using diigo today and the ease of using bookmarks online looks to be an advantage. One question though.
I have searched the forum posts and have read some postings from a year or so ago with regard to the wish for a feature which will sort bookmarks in a list view or in "my library". At the time of the posts this feature was not available.
