Smart Keyboard For Ipad 7th Generation - 0 views

  •
Been using Smart Keyboard For Ipad 7th Generation for a week, will update the review with durability and longevity comments after more time has passed… Felt like nobody mentions some things that are worth knowing… There are magnets in places that make this thing more functional than they tell you. You can wrap the cover to the backside of the iPad and use it as you would normally, and magnets will hold it in place. When you use it as a stand, you can use it like a tilted drawing pad. Magnets will hold it in this position so it's actually fairly secure. If you're opening it or changing the configuration, magnets hold the keyboard in, so you can treat it exactly like a regular smart cover without the keyboard annoyingly flopping out. And finally, you don't have to worry about accidentally pressing keyboard buttons when it's in any position other than "laptop mode." The magnets let it know and the keyboard won't function unless it's specifically in this mode. Would have bought it sooner had I known, instead of just taking a chance.

Smart Backpack Travel Laptop - 0 views

  •
I bought Smart Backpack Travel Laptop for airline travel. When I packed it the first time, I was amazed by how much it held and how organized everything was. I was going to write a review then but my husband said to wait till after the trip, that it might fall apart during travel. Well, the trip is over and this backpack is easily the best AND the most comfortable I've ever had. Zippers worked fine, the computer section was padded, the big compartment easily held my CPAP, the wide padded straps and padded back felt terrific, and the handle on top was easy to hold and felt very sturdy. Would happily buy this again for anyone needing a good backpack. I LOVED having my carry-on on my back instead of hanging off a shoulder or dragging behind me.

Smart AUP Quiz - Assessment tool for student understanding of AUP - 4 views

  •
A school's Acceptable Use Policy, or AUP, is a list of technology regulations that require students to use technology responsibly and prevent abuse of school computers. Students are often required to sign this "user contract" in order to use school network computers but unfortunately many sign without reading or understanding the information. The Smart AUP assessment tool is a fun and effective way for students to demonstrate to teachers and administrators that they have read and understand the AUP.

Part of an Australian non-profit social initiative (Smart Online/SafeOnline) that uses kids to deliver campaigns aimed at educating their peers about cyberbullying/cybersafety issues. Registration is required and even though this is designed for use in Australia, anyone can play. A nice feature is that, as kids complete missions, they get an email summarizing what they have learned. This is the same agency that created the video, Pants Down

iPhones invade college campuses, but will they replace the student ID? - 0 views

  •
The challenge for many college administrators today is how can they put cell phones to work for both students and the college. In Palo Alto, Calif., home of Stanford University, developers of an iPhone application called iStanford 2.0 hopes one day to see the iPhone replace the campus ID card. The entrepreneurial Stanford students have already produced a suite of iPhone applications that access the university's course catalog, campus map and other resources. The application suite was rolled out in October and has already garnered national attention, including winning the $10,000 grand prize for AT&T's "Big Mobile on Campus" contest for best smart phone application. One of the student members of the firm said he hopes to see the iPhone replace student identification cards in the future.
