"GOSH Charity is encouraging schools, nurseries and playgroups to get involved with the popular fundraiser between 21-27 May. The charity is inviting the next generation of budding bakers and patisserie pros, teacher and pupils alike, to roll up their sleeves, don their aprons, and bake up tasty treats to raise vital funds that will help support children cared for at GOSH, and their families too."

Struggles about teaching. Many are struggling with helping others get into the profession because of what teachers are experiencing now. Charity Preston shares her heart but also some encouraging stories for teachers.

While microblogging has helped free students from jails, as well as raised money for charity, it has also given a lot of us a good reason to procrastinate. This isn't Twitter's fault. We'll always find nice and shiny things to do instead of work, but there's a point where we have to say - enough is enough. "Barnardo's has launched free lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) resources to help teachers better educate children about same sex relationships and gender and sexual identities. The free LGBTQ resources aimed at primary and secondary schools have been launched by children's charity Barnardo's to sit alongside their existing Real Love Rocks resources, which teach children and young people about healthy relationships and awareness of child sexual exploitation."

Free Rice began as a vocabulary test that results in a donation of rice for each correct answer. The test adjusts difficulty level to the user so is appropriate for any age. Make sure to check out the other subject areas that have been added!
