Using the many resources of Khan Academy in blended learning is a fantastic resource. This specific example is perfect for my library/tech class offered to 4th graders. A perfect introduction to understanding the devices we use.

Ck-12 offers "FlexBook" textbooks and other OER for teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). I will use this resource for teaching in our STEM lab at the Intermediate School, and as an excellent source for PD when teachers are learning about new technology tools at their fingertips.

CrashCourse videos are openly available on YouTube. This links to the Intellectual Property playlist with 7 videos. I plan to use these with the High School English Department and also in sections with professional development to set the stage with appropriate copyright usage for the upcoming school year.

I love using the read write think resources. This would be a great way for students to showcase the book they're reading for display in the library.

Learn to code interactively, for free. I could see using something like this to get teachers more comfortable with coding, so teaching coding happens more than one hour a year.

The Khan Academy has wonderful resources on many topics. The online tutorials are great visual examples of solving various math problems that teachers can utilize in the regular classroom, flipped classroom, tutoring students or online courses. I would also coordinate with the teacher and link these resources to my library websites for students and parents to access. Learn for free about math, art, computer programming, economics, physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, finance, history, and more. Khan Academy is a nonprofit with the mission of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.

This would be a great resource for 8th Grade science for both teachers and students. There are currently 47 episodes on various aspects of astronomy. The narrator fills these short video lessons with a lot of information in terms that students would understand. He speaks animated and quickly. These videos could be used with a flipped classroom approach as an introduction to various astronomy topics, made interactive with Educanon or included in an online science course.

This is a website that could be use in a intro to digital filmmaking unit.

They will send everything for free that you will need to set up a coding club!  Did an aftershool coding club with help from local high school students.  Students loved it, and continued with the program after the club sessions ended.

I have spent a bit of time last year looking for maker type activities and science resources. This is another DIY/At Home possible learning site for students to expand their learning, or for teachers to bring maker activities in on a minimal budget.
