There is a track radius tab to find the radius of track...but when I lay track I like to have a full circle of "FT 15 Degree 250 Meter Radius" Fixed Track. I keep this on all layouts, and never delete it...when I need it, I slide it across the route, and lay track on it using the "Hold Shift" key method of laying track. Then when I am done laying track, I slide the circle of track out of the way, and put it asside on my "Painters Pallet" of often used assets, that I have on a out of the way on a unused baseboard. The PRR Horseshoe Curve is the equivilent of "FT 15 Degree 200 Meter Radius" Fixed track. Some branch lines use much tighter fixed track equivilents. It seems that this is the only way to get a perfect circle of track in Trainz. __________________

under TRS04 and 06 , I often use 'ControlDiamCross' <kuid:131986:1036> as a Block Token, the train takes the 'token' and conflicting signals are set to red so preventing AI from entering the single line, once the train has passed the exit trackmark, it releases the 'token' and allows the next train to take possesion of the 'token' and proceed onto the single line. The request for the token can be achieved automatically by using the 'Schedule at trackmark' rule <kuid2:61392:2001:4>. This rule can insert the command to ask for the 'token' when passing a specific trackmark, before proceeding with next command. Another possibility is the 'Path' rule which can exclusively set the entry and exit of the single line and in doing so, automatically block AI until the path is free again.

I have a situation in a session where I need AI trains to drive to one of four possible refuel points. The target trackmark must of course be unoccupied. I Have downloaded the driver command 'Drive To Trackmark List' (Kuid2:61392:1050:?) which appears to offer the solution.

Hi Andy and thanks for your interest in my DriveToTrackMarkList driver command. to use it to drive to one of your 4 refuel points, you need first to add under surveyor a trackmark to each of your refuel points and name each trackmark like : myrefuelpoint(1) myrefuelpoint(2) myrefuelpoint(3) myrefuelpoint(4) and save your route.

Yes, there is one on the DLS. I have used it with 2004 and 2006, but have not yet tried ot with 2009. I do not forsee any problems though, as all driver commands I have tried so far in 2009, and I use a lot of them, work just fine. It is called "Move Turntable", and the kuid is: KUID2: 131986:180156:1

The kuid is on the DLS make sure you select all versions. You will also need the Input table KUID:131986:1012. Name your turntable and enter the information into the input table as turntable,name,? The ? being the number of movements the turntable you are using can move befoer it gets back to its start position.

Hello Everyone, My route, Camp 6 is now on the DLS. Camp 6 is a kind of a demonstration route to show what logging was like in the Pacific Northwest, USA. The route is only one baseboard and is 36 ng. I have not been to Camp 6 in over 3 years and I created this from memory.

The loads are animated and you can see the cars drive up on to the panels and fold up in to the train car. I think a first for trainz. Due to how I animated the loads when you load or unload the train cars there will be about 2 or 3 seconds where the car seams to not be loading. Just wait and you will see the cars appear and start driving up in to the train car. Today I uploaded a Wachtlokaal, dutch for waitingroom, called "Het Rond" to the DLS. It was/is, I actually don't know if it's there still, situated at the Donkere Laan in Zeist just across cityhall. Build for the OSM/NBM tram company in 1919 to shed the passengers for the influences of the typical dutch weather.

This is an updated version of sirgibby UTC HO scale route, Aotearoa113 located at http://www.trainzone.co.nz/layouts.htm Some of the modifications include replacing the default auran track with better looking higher looking track. I also replaced the almost all scenery, and made the route fully interactive. I also recorded and added a sound script. Only 2 other routes I know of make use of that ability in trainz and they are both payware. The route has 1930’s style traffic and built for steam operations. But you may run anything almost without it looking to out of place. Also the main line and yard is modeled PRR style stuff but again you can run almost anything without it looking to out of place.

just doing a catchup in the last few weeks after not being able to upload for sometime. Recently I have uploaded a lot of oz stuff including new station buildings yard buildings of varying types and bridges. I have also been uploading locos and rollingstock, some of these are Vline grain hoppers and a refrigerated 4 wheel wagon, NSW 30 and 79 class locos as well as private and govt. 4 wheel coal hoppers.
