    I found this cool site online. It shows you what happened in histoy on any given day of the year. I think that this would interest students and you could make an assignment for each student to find out what had happened each day/week etc and then compare it to what is going on now.

    I thought this was an awesome article, because it tells you five tools that teachers can use to create quizzes online. I don't know about you, but to me giving a quiz online sounds ten times cooler and more fun for students than a plan old paper quiz in class. I think this is a great way to use technology to give a quiz to students especially on homework reading. That way as a teacher you can save time in class that can be used for further learning.
