I think this will help me be a better teacher because along with videos, this link has games that students can interact with and learn from. By doing something that is fun, like playing games, students will be more willing to make the effort to complete assignments.

This blogger lists the 15 Internet tools he thinks all students should use. I think this is mostly for college students, but might have some application to high school. I like that he cites some of the technologies we'll learn about this semester, like Diigo. In fact, notice the highlighting and sticky notes on the page--that's from using Diigo.

There are many excellent online tools available in these three categories, making the selection difficult at best. However, the selection was made based on reviewing available online resources along with other contributions and feedback from teachers.
