What:
In this workshop Ronda will explore how to create and maintain a workable website using Google Tools. Websites can be created for a personal digital portfolio, a classroom, or a business. Participants will learn how to use many Google tools such as calendar, documents, presentation, and forms and how to incorporate them into a workable website. Ronda will cover each Google tool and give participants an opportunity to develop content that will be utilized to develop a website at the end of the workshop. Ronda McManus began working at the Career Center in 1990 as an early childhood educator. She also held a position helping high school seniors transition from high school to either a university, junior college, training, military service, or a job. Currently, Ronda integrates technology in classrooms in her position at the Billings Career Center. She collaborates and supports teachers and students using technology in their classrooms, helping to create a foundation for learning and innovation in our ever-accelerating world. Ronda continues to be inspired by our youth and the promises they hold true. When/Where:

What:
Literacy is more than conventional reading and writing. Take a tour of a website designed for children with combined vision and hearing loss and other complex learning challenges. This webinar will discuss Strategies, Resources and Examples that can be used at home, at school and in the community. CADRE's Parent Dispute Resolution Showcase is the result of feedback from parent leaders on resources that would be most helpful to parent center staff, family members, parents and professionals as they prepare to participate in the full range of dispute resolution processes and practices. This easily searchable collection of resources contains a variety of items from policy and guidance documents to preparation materials, and from brochures and factsheets to website links containing webinars and videos. These materials address the expanding continuum of dispute resolution process and practices from early prevention approaches such as stakeholder training through collaborative processes such as mediation and IEP facilitation. The Showcase also includes items related to IDEA procedures such as Written State Complaints and Due Process Hearings.
