This blog is about a girl in her early 20's who is obsessed with traveling. As we all know, traveling is not always easy when just graduating college, but this girl took the challenge anyways. This blog is to show twenty somethings that long term travel is a feasible option. Her blogs are educational for travel lovers and are fun to read. I chose this because I would like to travel someday, and this is another blog that makes me believe I can do it too!

Woman lands Prep Football Head Coaching Gig - 0 views

  •
I am a parks and recreation major, I also take a referring and coaching class. I have always been involved in coaching youth sports and helping local teams. I have never heard of a female taking becoming a head coach for a varsity high school football team untill reading this article. I picked this article because it is encouraging to women like myself and other who have a passion for sports that we can also coach the "guy sports." This topic is still debated on and judged but mainly because I don't think the public has yet become accustomed to it. It is a huge step in women's role in male dominate sports.

This is a personal blog on a life that is on it's way to become more healthy. I like this blog because it is someone anyone can relate to about trying to live a healthy and happy life. I also like that the blogs are not all about exercise to be fit, but more of a state of mind, a state of bliss. These blogs are easy to relate to and fun to read.

What Exercise Science Doesn't Know About Women - 0 views

  •
This article is nothing I've personally come across before, though I'm sure others have. Basically, womens' bodies react completely differently to protein and carbs as opposed to men. Not enough research has been done to relay any new facts, but the article is interseting nonetheless

Competition in the Classroom - 0 views

  •
This article is about the conroversy that is rising about competition in the classroom. The focus of this topic is on grade school students. This article discuss what the issues are with competition in the class and also why we should keep competition in the class. I picked this article because I believe in competition to make someones character more well-rounded. Every person will face losing many times in their life, if they don't start learning at a young age at how to handle it. Will they ever?
  •
Well done Stephanie! I liked your bookmark for a couple of reasons. It is a controversy. Competition in the classroom and at school is being marked as a topic to discuss. Generally, it's Competition vs. Collaboration - which in my opinion, is a false dichotomy. So, good bookmark. Also, I liked how you tagged it and described it. You also correctly put your name in quotes so that it shows as "Stephanie Behrend" and not "Stephanie" "Behrend"
