American Nursing Association - 1 views

  •
As an aspiring nurse in addition to a community health educator, this site is important to me as I can find medical facts and policies to support other health points I am making. You can look up the Nursing Code of Ethics which can often be cross-referenced when writing almost any health/medical paper. Not to mention, it includes tabs for the health care reform, credentialing, occupational and environmental affairs, and other hot topics.

Tidal Creek Co-Op - 2 views

  •
Tidal Creek Co-Op is a local organic and health foods store located off of Oleander. You can pay a membership fee which gives you an opportunity to earn money back at the end of the year based on how much you have spent at this store and based on the store's over-all profit, and sometimes you get an extra discount at the register when you check-out. However, you do not have to have membership in the Co-op to shop there. This is a great resource in the community not only for purchasing healthy foods, but also for health and wellness programs.

Healthiest Desserts - 0 views

  •
This site's page layout in very eye-catching and stimulating. You can find healthy desserts that are typically low-calorie. The serving size and calories per serving are listed with each recipe. I love to cook, and especially bake; but as a health educator, feeding people unhealthy food but telling them to eat healthy is a double-negative. I'm excited to see what the site has to offer.
