Cameroon is one of the 30 countries with the highest burden of TB/HIV co-infection worldwide. Only 54% of TB cases were notified in 2016 and 5.5% were children. TB treatment coverage was 55% and treatment success 84%.Despite implementation of TB and HIV strategic plans, TB case finding, diagnosis, and management remain suboptimal. TB/HIV co-infection remains high, Isoniazid Preventive Therapy (IPT) implementation is limited, and antiretroviral therapy (ART) services are not fully integrated in TB clinics. Human resource capacity is limited, and there are continued challenges with stock management.Cameroon adheres to the Sustainable Development Goals and the WHO Strategy to END TB. This NOFO will support development of models to improve screening, case identification, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of TB among people living with HIV (PLHIV). It will also strengthen HIV testing, ART initiation, clinical monitoring, and care for TB clients, and strengthen health systems by building monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and infection control (IC) capacity. These interventions will strengthen TB/HIV services and improve capacity for an effective TB/HIV response in Cameroon.

AIIS fellowships are granted in 4 areas: Junior Research Fellowships Junior Research Fellowships are available to doctoral candidates at U.S. universities in all fields of study. These grants are specifically designed to enable doctoral candidates to pursue their dissertation research in India. Junior Research Fellows establish formal affiliation with Indian universities and Indian research supervisors. Awards are available for up to 11 months. Senior Research Fellowships Senior Research Fellowships are available to scholars with a PhD or its equivalent. These grants are designed to enable scholars who specialize in South Asia to pursue further research in India and to establish formal affiliation with an Indian institution. Short-term awards are available for up to four months. Long-term awards are available for six to nine months. A limited number of humanists will be granted fellowships paid in dollars funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Senior Scholarly/Professional Development Fellowships Senior Scholarly/Professional Development Fellowships are available both to established scholars who have not previously specialized in Indian studies and to established professionals who have not previously worked or studied in India. Senior Scholarly/Professional Development Fellows are formally affiliated with an Indian institution. Awards may be granted for periods of six to nine months. Senior Performing and Creative Arts Fellowships Senior Performing and Creative Arts Fellowships are available to accomplished practitioners of the performing arts of India and creative artists who demonstrate that study in India would enhance their skills, develop their capabilities to teach or perform in the U.S., enhance American involvement with India's artistic traditions or strengthen their links with peers in India. Awards will normally be for periods of up to four months, although proposals for periods of up to nine months can be considered.

PRM plans to end its gap-filling support through NGOs for the South Caucasus by the end of FY2019; we will continue to support UNHCR and ICRC. It is in this context that PRM will only consider NGO proposals which have exit scenarios that include the development and/or strengthening of the capacity of beneficiaries, communities and local stakeholders so that they can take responsibility and respond to community needs in a sustainable way. The U.S. Embassy in Moldova seeks to support independent voices in the Moldovan media landscape through the development of good quality local production capacity in the Republic of Moldova in the interests of plurality of views and editorial independence. Specifically, this initiative seeks to support the development of the community of filmmakers and digital content creators who use their medium to present an alternative vision of Moldovan society and culture. The U.S. Embassy seeks a qualified implementing partner that will select, mentor and monitor a series of sub-grantees from the Moldovan creative community.The project will include two major components: 1. Planning and administration of sub-grantees applying for production related initiatives. The grant recipient must solicit applications from emerging or established Moldovan filmmakers, NGOs and creative studios based on an open competition, and select participants based on merit, potential and proposed project goals and outcome. 2. Mentorship of filmmakers, studios and NGOs that successfully pass the selection stage for film production, film festivals, and other non-news production projects. Globally there is insufficient capacity to adequately prevent, detect and respond to public health issues. Field epidemiology networks have been assisting countries with developing and strengthening their public health workforce and are essential to strengthening health systems worldwide and achieving global public health objectives. The purpose of this announcement is to partner with an established Global Network and at least two established Regional Networks of public health training in target regions (Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia Pacific) to strengthen and sustain applied epidemiology.

Applicants may request up to $55,000 for projects aimed at fostering or expanding U.S.-Russian ties. All project activities and deliverables should be completed within twelve months and end before August 31, 2021. Projects proposing U.S.-Russia partnerships between previously unaffiliated organizations will be given priority consideration. The overall purpose of this five year activity is to strengthen outcome measurements, learning and accountability systems in order to provide quality data and synthesized information for planning, implementation, policy development and decision making. This should be achieved through working with county governments and other development partners. The activity should work within the county health sector's coordination framework at the focal counties to ensure that it promotes rational and harmonized support that takes into account other donor support towards the strengthening of outcome measurements, learning and accountability systems.

Proposed activities should primarily support stateless persons and individuals at risk of statelessness in the Dominican Republic. PRM will consider funding only those projects that include a target beneficiary base of at least 50 percent stateless persons and/or individuals at risk of statelessness.

PAS Kabul invites all eligible organizations (see Section C for Eligibility Requirements) to submit a proposal for the development, coordination, and implementation of monthly Afghan National Police (ANP) Community Outreach Events in the following 20 provinces of Afghanistan: Ghazni, Paktika, Bamiyan, Farah, Faryab, Kunar, Jowzjan, Laghman, Nuristan, Takhar, Urozgan, Zabul, Baghlan, Paktia, Khost, Kandahar, Helmand, Sar-e Pol, Logar, and Nimroz. Under the 2016 - 2020 Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS), USAID/Zimbabwe anticipates awarding a five-year $25 million cooperative agreement to provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC) at the national level and in Manicaland province. This award will be made through a full and open competition, under which any type of organization is eligible to apply. Building on the achievements of current USAID-supported activities, the purpose of the activity is improved maternal, youth, and child health and survival in beneficiary communities and populations. This activity will improve the health of women, youth, and children in Manicaland by strengthening maternal, newborn, child health and family planning (integrated MNCH-FP) service delivery throughout the continuum of care, i.e., from the home, to the community, to the primary care facility, and to the tertiary referral hospital. Continuum of care refers to a concept involving a system that guides and tracks patients over time through a comprehensive array of health services spanning all levels and intensity of care. Integrated MNCH-FP service delivery refers to combining together MNCH and FP health services in order to expand access to care, increase efficiencies, and improve health outcomes. The activity will also increase access to a broader range of family planning methods through outreach services at the national level.
