QuestBase is a free, cross-platform application that provides Everything you need to create and manage your assessments, tests, quizzes and exams, both on-line and printed. Designed as a training and learning tool, QuestBase can also be used for selection tests, psychological tests, satisfaction and opinion surveys, market researches and customer feedback.

Although this is not a specific music site, I think it is still valuable for music education. Classrooms should always have positive and inspirational posters in their rooms. I print many of her printable to hang around my classroom.

I have used this company since high school for my music purchases both personally and for school. They can get almost anything available in print for a multitude of publishers. Most importantly - they take 20% off all items purchased. This really helps me stretch my school budget and order a couple extra pieces each year.

NotateMe is an app where you have ability to hand write notation, and see it transferred onto a music staff in real time. This app serves as a great educational tool for learning composition and basic notation print.

Admittedly, I'm a total geek for the "old classics", but I find this website absolutely amazing! In about 3 minutes time I was able to locate about a half dozen pieces that I've been looking for at some point or another since I started teaching. I think there are resources that every band director could use here.

Public Domain town band music library. Would be great for so many things - especially playing marches at MPA that aren't overdone.

This is another invaluable resource of Public Domain compositions for the Band World. So many of the old marches and waltzes are out of print and difficult to come by, but this website has an extensive list of great works that are all public domain. A great resource not only for finding pieces to play, but also for doing some traditional score study.

This web page offers free printable of stories and props for kids. Even though it's not a music education site, elementary music teachers that use stories to teach music concepts such as beat, high/low, soft/loud, among other concepts, can find excellent patterns to print and use in their classes. There are many books based on songs.

Free presentations to use in the classroom. Alphabetized by name. Great for elementary school. Simple songs that are sung in the classroom have powerpoints with visuals to engage students.

Tim Price provides free lessons on jazz improvisation, theory, and technique.  These lessons can translate to any instrument and provides a variety of topics for the beginning and advanced jazz player to digest.  The music can be opened in pdf form and printed for personal use.  I have used these exercises when teaching jazz theory and technique and is a great resource for jazz students

The program is free to use, and although there is a premium version, the free version has all the tools needed for learning and creating notated music. All works are saved in the cloud and can be accessed at anytime from any device that can access the website, making music composition easier than ever.

It also connects to MIDI instruments. Noteflight has a paid subscription which allows you to store unlimited compositions, full access to all sounds, transposition, and the ability to print individual parts. Student accounts can be purchased which you to create "closed" classrooms allowing for creative musical products and collaboration amongst peers.

MuseScore3 is full-featured, open-source music notation software. This software is installed directly on a computer, and has compatible versions for PC, Mac, and Linux operating systems. There is no online or "cloud" version of this software. Although MuseScore is free, it is a professional music notation alternative to Finale and Sibelius and is capable of producing high-quality musical scores in a variety of formats. MuseScore also has full capability to produce audio playback, export to audio, and generate MIDI files.

This is the entire American Folk Song collection. This excellent resource can be used by educators to print out folk songs to use to teach their students specific music skills such as singing, audiating, pitch, and rhythm. The website even gives activity ideas to use for each specific song.

This site includes scale sheets, rhythm charts and bowing examples for orchestra students and teachers.  I have used this site with my school students and private students.

This string specific website has lots of great resources for working on different skill-sets. I particularly like this for the finger pattern exercises and rhythmic reading tunes. This helps to work on rhythm, intonation, sight-reading, and scale work.

This website is a comprehensive resource for string teachers which includes etudes, scale sheets, bowing resources, and more. Many resources are available for printing and sharing directly with students.

A word cloud generator can be used to take students responses and show a visual of what descriptors students used when responding. This generator allows you to chance how the text is printed, color format and how many words are shown.

Amazing resource for lesson plans, worksheets, and games to teach students about a wide variety of music topics. This website would be great for creating lesson plans for subs and would also be a great resource if you can't find printed worksheets that address theory. The games are also fun and educational, asking students to identify instruments, tempos, etc. and can act as quizzes that can be scored and printed out. Great resource!

Music Tech Teacher is an open resource offered by Karen Garrett as an extension of her own music classes she had previously been teaching. Ms. Garrett offers free lessons, worksheets and assessments that can be downloaded as .pdfs and used by any teachers looking for materials that could be used within their own classrooms. Ms. Garrett's resources also have a strong focus on teachers looking to specifically make use of technology in their classes.

Rubistar is a rubric maker that is free to use. If you sign up then you can save your rubrics, otherwise they will disappear after you leave the website. There are many templates available to use or alter, including different music templates for playing tests or concert critiques. You can download them to save or print right away.

This website is a great resource for classroom music teachers! It is a collection of posts about music teaching and resources. The resources are free and include items such as free manuscript paper to use in class, posters to print, game instructions, and lesson ideas. You can search with keyboards or filter the posts.

Noteflight is web-based music notation software which allows you to create, view, print, and hear musical scores. Noteflight works on computers, tablets, or smartphones. Noteflight has a basic (free) level, and higher tiers of subscription levels for more functionality.

Fingering AND trill charts for all instruments. Offered in a PDF printable format. Teacher can print indiviudal copies for students to use. Although most method books have fingering charts, most do not have trill charts. A great reference for students.
