Digital Music Educator - 0 views

Owen Bradley's Digital Music Educator blog is worth the read. He is a band director who has decided to blog his thoughts, stories and technological knowledge for other directors to use. Since this is from a teacher perspective, I find the articles meaningful and personal. Bradley shares many iPad resources, not just for band purposes but for all areas of music education. Mainly, this blog is personal advancement, for teachers to learn about new technology or tips.

Evan Tobias is an assistant professor at ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts School of Music. His blog focuses on contemporary issues, technology and showcasing different perspectives. This is an excellent resource to stay current and informed with new information about music. Tobias is very philosophical, less practical for classroom application, but important for professional development purposes.

Great website for band programs with limited instrumentation or for small chamber groups with nontraditional instrumentation.  Each band piece can be played as a solo or the full work.  The sheet music provides every instrument with the melody and the part for the band version.  New titles are added frequently!
