CadenzaStringsNC is a YouTube channel created by Kevin Yen, Violinist and Violist. He has recorded and created playlists of many books and repertoire lists, including several volumes of the Suzuki Violin and Viola series. Some of his videos are also with the accompaniment for the songs or have practice tracks recorded at a slower tempo. This is a helpful resource for anyone preparing this literature for solo and ensemble performances as students can have an accurate example of the music to listen to at home and follow along with the correct bowings.

The website also has resources for teachers who are looking for inspiration to bring more creativity into their classroom.

This is a supporting website for Gerald Klickstein's book, "The Musician's Way". Resources are organized by category, most of which contain additional reading/links on a topic like practice, creativity, and performance. Additionally, teachers/students can download practice documents for planning, timelines, and developing good practice habits as a musician.

Lessons, videos, etc. for bassoon players

This site was created to assist bassoon players in learning their instruments as well as a resource for educators. A student has access to 50 different units, covering pitches and basic techniques. Like a digital method book, the creator provides audio clips to perform along with as well as videos to introduce key techniques like key flicking.

This is a very interesting article on teaching middle school general music. I have a class of 35. it is very hard to keep them engaged. I will also look into the book.

This site has a real nifty guide/chart of Disney songs and a breakdown of the tempo(speed), range, meter and brief notes about the song. The videos are a little dry but if you don't want to go through a book/music library to find a particular song, this would be a great reference if you want to study Disney songs either through the lense of theory or performance accuracy,

This is a songbook put together by the Utah State Board of Education. It's a song book for elementary students, filled with not only the music and lyrics but optional body movements, dance, and percussion instructions.

This is an online platform for lesson planning. I have always used a notebook but I am considering shifting to using plan book. Mainly because if there is an unexpected day where there is no class, the teacher can shift all of the classes over one day.

One Size Fits All Band Books is a collection of public domain music that is arranged for instrumental groups of any size or instrumentation. Each instrument is provided with the melody and one other part (harmony, bass line, or percussion). Selections are sorted by title, genre, and difficulty.

After using this website for a graduate level course in American Vernacular Music History, I was really impressed with it's use for educators. Organize music history in a timeline view to allow students to click and learn more on their own.
