    "Dollar Drink Days" featured 4,000 dollar coins arranged in the shape of the Golden Arches and embedded in a block of ice a beach party in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Partygoers were encouraged to chip away at the ice to free the coins.

    Twitter global shut this down, but this app in Japan let users temporarily assume control (and give up control) of Twitter accounts so they could post as someone else. It was all in good fun, though people obviously tried to deceive others, but it is a cool digital behavior.

  • High-tech washing machines which contact users by EMAIL when the cycle is complete have been installed at a string of British universities.Makers believe the digital launderettes will mean students no longer lug their dirty laundry to the washing block only to find all the machines in use.The Laundryview machines, were first installed at Leeds University where students accessed a website to see if machines were free before taking their washing.Students then load the machine as normal but later receive an email when their washing finished and ready to collect. The scheme have proved so successful it's now been installed at 28 universities.

    google says it wont let out user data to sites that wont give its user data back (facebook is the biggest "sinner"). im sure it has something to do with the social network they are rumored to be creating
