"Conclusion: A few areas of debriefing practice where obvious gaps that deserve study were identified, such as comparing debriefing techniques, comparing trained versus untrained debriefers, and comparing the effect of different debriefing venues and times. A model for publication of research data was developed and presented which should help researchers clarify methodology in future work."

"Multimedia design principles are easy to implement and result in improved short-term retention among medical students, but empirical research is still needed to determine how these principles affect transfer of learning. Further research on applying the principles of multimedia design to medical education is needed to verify the impact it has on the long-term learning of medical students, as well as its impact on other forms of multimedia instructional programmes used in the education of medical students."
" This research suggests that the theoretical advantages linked to the self-assessment process are a result of its feedback component rather than the practice of self-assessment isolated from feedback. Further research exploring the effects of different contextual and personal factors on students' self-assessment is needed."
"It was observed that each institutional context formed a complex educational ecology. The intervention became interwoven with different educational ecologies so that it could no longer be considered a stable variable across the study. We suggest that researchers should conduct implementation-profiling studies in advance of any intervention-based research to account for the constructing nature of educational ecologies on their interventions and in doing so to more clearly differentiate between efficacy and effectiveness studies."
"n December of 2009, the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation in collaboration with the Beckman Research Institute, City of Hope and the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG) launched the Health of Women Study (HOW) of the Army of Women."

This open source project is a "web-based electronic data capture system for clinical research." The tool lets users manage data, submit new information, extract data, manage accounts and more.
We have put together a short guide answering these questions, showing new users how to get started on Twitter and hone their tweeting style, as well as offering advice to more experienced users on how to use Twitter for research projects, alongside blogging, and for use in teaching.
The tool was conceived by a research team from the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at UWE Bristol led by principal lecturer Simon Messer, and developed in collaboration with Avon Somerset and Wiltshire Cancer Services (ASWCs) who commissioned the project as part of the National Awareness and Early Diagnosis Initiative.
