A blog post describing how Twitter is used in a primary classroom with 6 and 7 year old learners.

Ashley Azzopardi is a year 5 primary school teacher who is a year 5 teacher from Sydney. Her writing its not only inspiration but also is relevant to my teaching context. She talks about how she loves students sense of humor and this making her teaching experience enjoyable.

Ashley is a Year 5 primary teacher. Ashley shares her philosophy and purpose on her blog as well as a link to the Year 5 class Blog where the students post what they have been doing in class and you are able to comment for them to read!

Thanks sharing this blog. Gives some insight in to a Year 5 class and how this platform can be used by the student's also to share.

These are a sort of pre-cursor/Queensland specific version of the ICT capability and it's learning continuum. Still useful to see what the expectations are.

Sharing Teacher blog - good for a laugh!

I like the way she describes her job- loves the kids but struggles with the job. This is interesting to me because I feel the same (don't know if it I for the same reasons) because I whole- heartedly believe in diversity and the individual child BUT I also know/ have seen how strict and institutionalised schools remain to be and this often gets in the way of the kind of teacher I thought I could be. It is interesting and worth thinking about though because I am sure we all want to help each child as much as we can but lack of time, resources and 'the halo effect' will get in the way at some point.

Interesting read as this teachers shares her trials and tribulations as a newly graduated teacher, something I have concerns about myself. 

Miss Jordan shares her teaching experiences, classroom activities and students learning experiences. Miss Jordan is based in Victoria and is in a primary setting. A 3/4 class. I think Miss Jordan is interesting as she has regular posts and shares information that is relevant to other teachers. Miss Jordan also uses technology in different ways to help her students learn.

Interesting blogs in relation to the digital world used in the classroom

This site allows teachers to set up individual student blogs and link them up as a class. All this is done while the teacher has full control over the blogs.

Corinne is a NSW-based primary school teacher who is active in social media, including being involved with the TER podcast (that I recommend). More information available on her blog.

I think this teacher is interesting as she posts a lot of interesting and relevant ideas for teaching across a number of different content areas. 

This teacher shares and sells resources which are useful and inspiring. A blog I love to check out when I am looking for resources or inspiration for the groups of children I see at school
