Schule und Kultur gemeinsam in Aktion: Zusammen mit einem Theater,einem Museum, einem Orchester, einem einzelnen Künstler ein Projektentwickeln und durchführen, neue  kreative Impulse für den Schulalltagschaffen. (Kommentar: Bettina) Im Hinblick auf die Entwicklung der Museen können solche Initiativen interessante Beispiele sein.

Kannte ich noch nicht, vielen Dank! Das wäre übrigens auch eine interessante Zielgruppe, wenn es um Storytelling geht.

On Saturday 29 April 2000 the V&A staged its first Day of Record, a proposed series of events cataloguing applied and decorative arts in relation to the body. Over 1500 tattooed people visited the Museum on that day to have their artworks photographed for inclusion in the V&A digital archive of tattoos. This site is the product of that day.

In 2002, the people of Ontario became the fortunate recipients of a time capsule vividly illustrating life in the province during the 1950s and 1960s when London television station CFPL generously donated 2,700 reels of news film to the Archives of Ontario. Seductive Subversion opens today and the show takes a look at the impact of women artists on the traditionally male-dominated field of Pop art.  The exhibition team wanted to keep things simple in the gallery-a spare look, so the pop art would really pop out at you.  At the same time, the team had a plethora of research about each of the 25 artists featured in the show and wanted a way to share that with the public.   So, the goals of this endeavor became two-fold.  First, how do we share the research and, second, how do we do it in a way that won't overwhelm the visitor experience?  Wikipedia + iPads became the answer

Bletchley Park was the site of the United Kingdom's main codebreaking facility during the second world war. This is the place where the Enigma code that was used to encrypt military communications by Nazi Germany was broken. This afternoon I am going to try and answer this question, What can social media do for oral history. I am going to look at a few examples which caught my attention and talk about what we can learn from these projects.

Die Frage, wieso Weblogs in den Geschichtswissenschaften nicht viel selbstverständlicher genutzt werden, war für uns - neben Erwägungen zu den konkreten Problemen und Herausforderungen - von zentraler Bedeutung. Wir haben und entschieden, den Praktiker/innen das Wort zu geben, um aufgrund von konkreten Erfahrungen eine entsprechende Diskussion zu führen. Die Frage nach der Rolle von Weblogs zwischen Selbstreflexion, Selbstvermarktung und Vernetzung als Beitrag zum wissenschaftlichen Diskurs haben wir im Verlaufe des Nachmittags durchaus benannt und diskutiert.
