How This Influenced My Thinking: This made me want to conduct my own research or do my own study on twins who were separated at birth to see how identical their characteristics were after five or ten years of being apart. That would help me see for myself if genetics really do have a greater inpact than environment does on development.
Credibility of Source: This source is credible because the information was derived from universities, journals, and other research organizations and they have references to all the information they used.

This article starts off by describing the criteria to be classified as a teratogen. There are three categories of congenital malformations: unknown, genetic, and environmental. The severity of effects of teratogen are determined by time of exposure and amount of exposure or threshold dose.
How This Influenced My Thinking: There are specific criteria in order to be classified as caused by teratogen.
Credibility of Source: The source is highly credible. It comes from the Journal of American Academy of Pediatrics.

Date Published: also unlisted, but it was written sometime after 2007 because that was the date of one the references used in the article.
Why Relevant: The article talks about how height is based on your genes as well as you your environment. It mentions twin studies as well as talking about how scientists are trying to determine which genes are responsible for determining height.
How This Influenced My Thinking: The article had some great information about twin studies and how they have been used to look at how much your height is a genetic factor.
Credibility of Source: Decent, The website is put out through a museum that is associated with the University of Stanford. But since there isn't a date, or author it lowers the credibility of the source.

Why Relevant and Summary: This video is breaks down all factors from genetics to environmental influences that contribute to human development. The video shows the importance of prenatal care to environmental effects on individuals after they have been born.
How This Influenced My Thinking: Reviewing this video has really made me think on which plays a bigger role on a person's development. I have come to the conclusion that genetics play the leading role but not by much. The human fetal stage is very fragile and will induce any stress that it has encountered, from emotional stress, to chemical through the actions of the mother.
Credibility of Source: Stefan Molyneux who is a radio broadcaster, is really a collector of information rather than a scholarly researcher, who merely reposts other's findings from educated researchers.

How This Influenced My Thinking: I had no idea how much of an influence sounds had on a developing baby, and how early the influence begins.
Credibility of Source: Excellent. Author is a professor who specializes in psychology of music.

How this Influenced my thinking: It coincided with what i already knew about prenatal care. i learned however that women should take folic acid even if unsure if they are pregnant, or if they are planning on getting pregnant

Credibility: It came from Womenshealth.org, and a doctor wrote this, so I assume that it is very credible.
