It helps to focus on what can really affect the child when religion is involved in a family life. How this influenced my thinking: It just helps me to look at what I can help my children with when they reach that age and may be faced with these issues as well. Credibility of Source: I've used this site many times for references and it seems to be credible.

It talks about the basic respect that partners need to show each other. It says that a happy marriage means respecting your spouse. It also discusses healthy ways to resolve conflicts step by step with a spouse. How This Influenced My Thinking: This article made a great point - that true compatibility doesn't exist, so shrug off the little stuff. It says that irreconcilable differences are normal and we shouldn't try to resolve or unresolve but rather come to terms with them and except the differences between you and your partner. I often feel that if you are unhappy because of disagreements that will never be resolved -then you should leave. But the point that we should just except these disagreements and cherish the stronger aspects of a relationship has changed my thinking on this.
