It gives 8 tips that anyone who works with children can find useful. It stresses the idea that this is a phenomena that unfortunately exists in our schools, but it is preventable. We should educate ourselves and our kids and empower them to face challenges with confidence. How has this influenced my thinking: I am a mother of two young boys, and even though we have not experienced any bullying, is good to know as much as possible that in any event I can help my boys deal with this challenge. Some of the tips where practical like, exercise, eat healthy or get enough sleep to more specific which had to do with how to handle the emotional burden of the situation. How has this influenced my thinking: This article was very interesting for me, because I currently support my parents, even though they are in good health and able to take care of themselves, still some of the issues outline in the article apply to my situation as well. Source credibility: The article was publish on a government website and the authors are medical professionals.

In chapter eight of our Human Development textbook we will be discussing adolescence and will go over theories surrounding morality, Kohlberg's Theory of Moral Development is one of them. This video gives a brief introduction to Kohlberg's research and professional career. It presents The Stages of Moral Development as well as recorded interviews illustrating the Heinz Dilemma experiment. How This Influenced My Thinking: I found this reference video supporting some of my theories surrounding moral development. However, as I was doing more research I realized how many variables were not being considered in Kohlberg's Theory of Moral Development. As I challenged Kohlberg's theory on its broader application I thought about what research methods could be used to provide supportive evidence. Credibility of Source: I have found additional reference material that supports the information provided in this video.

Four children are followed from birth to their first birthday: Ponijao in Opuwo, Nambia, Mari in Tokyo, Japan, Bagar in Bayanchandmani, Mongolia, and Hattie in San Francisco, California. Some is a challenge to watch, as for us some of the parenting habits are unfamiliar to our culture, while many moments are funny and beautiful. I encourage you to watch the movie, and have linked specifically to this article so that you can also read about the director and producers' thoughts on the film.
