How This Influenced my Thinking: This made me think about how infants use this as a method of learning; after observing an object until it is instilled in memory and moving along to newer objects and stimuli further their knowledge. Its the beginning of their being "scientists" and observing their environment and assessing it. How This Influenced My Thinking: It helps my thinking because I'm able to see what kind of parenting style I have, what the temperaments of my children are and how I can match them so that my children are succeeding in life. It not only provides you with a definition of each term, but also gives you information on Vygotsky, and provides you with sample learning scenarios that help you to better understand his theory. how this influenced my thinking- This webpage gave me insight on what are good ways of teaching someone a new task. This video shows how young children can be taught not only by teachers and adults but by their peers who are slightly more advanced than them.You are able to witness both Scaffolding and guided participation within this segment. Credibility of Source: Credible, the article by Dr. Meyers seemed to be thoroughly researched and well written in a way that was reader friendly.

It doesn't give a generic textbook definition, but rather puts it into terms that are not only interesting but easy to understand. How this influenced my thinking: It allowed to be better understand what the textbook had already explained. I was able to see real life examples of these definitions. Title- Piaget's theory of cognitive development author- Many published- 2012 why relevant- This webpage talks about Piaget's theory, assimilation and accommodation, and breaks down all the motor stages. how influenced-Although i did view other websites to learn more about Piaget's theory of development. I felt that wiki broke it down in a way that not many other sites did. I was able to see what was going on in each stage of development, and it even went further into explaining the substages and what they encompass. credibility of source- I checked what wiki was telling me against other, more credible websites so i feel that the info i got was credible, even if the site itself has a bad rep for being credible :)

How this influenced my thinking: This article opened my eyes to how outdoor play is not only providing play and physical activity for a young child but also many different learning opportunities that they may not experience otherwise.
