DAR Motion Pictures has come up with the most versatile production house, and its latest release The Lunchbox, in collaboration with UTV and Dharma Productions did good business at the box-office.Its upcoming projects are Mickey Virus, Ugly, etc. Arun Rangachari from the production house says "Our content strategy is genre and demographic agnostic, and is driven by a core philosophy to bring high-quality content to a cross-section of Indian audiences. Backed by best-of-class talent, each of our films this year belongs to a different genre and is focused on a distinctive audience segment."The production house aims to invest in different genres of films. "We are currently finalizing our slate of films for 2014, which again will be equally eclectic in terms of genres, themes, narratives, budgets and casting, with high-quality content being at the core," says Vivek Rangachari from the production house.Director Ritesh Batra says, "I am very excited to be a part of DAR family with The Lunchbox. As a production house they give creative freedom and support to their directors."Manish Paul, who plays the main lead in Mickey Virus, said, "After my experience of working with them on 'Mickey Virus', I can say that that they know how to identify and nurture creative talent."We hope they keep on attain success!

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu fame director Shakun Batra’s next would be based on the human relationships. His last film was made under Karan Johar’s production banner Dharma Productions, and this will also be produced under the same banner. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu starred Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.At present he is busy with the pre-production stage of the movie. Speaking to the sources, he said, "My next film deals with human relationships... it is a drama. I am yet to lock my script. I will show the draft to Karan and then we will take things ahead. By next month I will be able to give some details, including the star cast."You may know that with his debut directorial, he introduced the unusual pairing of Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor, which would be on-screen again with Gori Tere Pyaar mein, again produced by Karan, and directed by I Hate Luv Storys director Punit Malhotra. Recently Shakun saw the rushes of GTPM, and is all praises for it. "They both look amazing on screen. They have a sizzling chemistry. B-town actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is all excited about her upcoming films, however she is looking forward to the most is Dev Benegal’s film Bombay Samurai, where she will star opposite Farhan Akhtar. Career-wise things are not flourishing for Kareena, as two have her films, Satyagraha and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein failed to impress the audience.  However, she thinks that things will change with Bombay Samurai, which is a crazy zany rollicking roller coaster ride with amazing twists and turns. Sources close to the project, said, "There are seven to eight pivotal characters. But Kareena and Farhan Akhtar preside over the show.""They play a couple like no other seen before in our films. They are wacky and unpredictable. The two actors will have a ball playing their outgoing zestful characters," the sources added. It is learnt that both Bebo and Farhan are keen to work with each other. Says Farhan, "I've seen Kareena's work. She is consistently excellent. I was keen to work with her. Dev's film gives us a chance to try something different."Kareena, on the other side, "I admire Farhan for being multi-talented. Which other director has done so well as an actor? Farhan took my breath away in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Finally after a lot dilly dallying for almost a year to hold a concert in Dubai, the busiest star of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan has announced his World Tour premiering. Access to All-SRK Live in Concert has been kick started from December 1 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.SRK along with Madhuri Dixit, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Meiyang Chang, Neeti Mohan and Deepika Padukone have started to enthrall global audience. Before the event Shah Rukh Khan said, “I have wanted to do a big, all-encompassing live show for a long time. It will be a highly interactive experience for the viewers.” Khan is giving UAE fans an opportunity to experience a live concert concept and audiences can request the songs they want the stars to dance to. While shooting his next movie Happy New Year in Dubai, SRK held this second press conference in the span of three days to reveal his tour plans. “The audience can tell us what songs they want to see and hear through audience polls, newspapers, radio events that will start soon. We want it to be interactive, so some people who win events can come backstage and meet the artists and see what goes into making a live show. They will realise it’s not all fun and games and they will have access to some of the excitement that goes on behind the scenes,” he added.Earlier SRK did shows at Australia and New Zealand.

Buzz doing around the telly world has that popular actor Shantanu Maheshwari aka Sham of popular show Dil Dostii Dance (Cinevistaas Productions) on Channel V has decided to quit the show. However, the young actor stabbed the report saying he is going nowhere and will stick to the show till its end.According to the sources, “The creative head of the show, Palki Malhotra with whom Shantanu shares a very close relation was shown the door, allegedly because of her affinity towards him. With co-actors Shakti Mohan and Kunwar Amar supposedly not liking the importance Shantanu was showered in terms of screen time, and complaining to the channel about the same, the lanky guy was left alone when his dear friend Palki, bid farewell to the show.”It was also buzzed that Shantanu spreading news that he too has decided to close the D3 chapter from his book, when his sole pillar of support is no more with him in it. It is said to be the reason Shantanu walking out of the show.  However, Shantanu come out rubbishing all the rumors saying, “I really don’t want to give any reasons to all these rumours, but would just want to tell my fans that I am not quitting D3. I am very much a part of it, so they need not get anxious.”This must be a relief for the fans of Shantanu.

B-town beauty Lara Dutta, who is currently away from Bollywood, so that she could focus on raising her child, is set to put forth her designing skills as she will soon launch her own sari collection. She says that designing is her new baby."I have done films for 10 years. This is something new that I have forayed into; so it's my new baby. I am excited about the response from the customers," said Lara, who was in Delhi to launch her second sari range in association with Chhabra 555. Married to tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, Dutta, 35, started designing last year, and it was then she created a whole line of saris. "The second collection is far more traditional. Personally I am a big fan of Benarasi saris and many other old-age fabrics; so I wanted to make those weaves younger and contemporary. Normally, we associate Benarasi saris with our aunts and our mothers, but I wanted to give it a younger and trendy feel," she said. Even though she is seen less on silver screen nowadays, Lara has no qualms. "I think each thing has its own space in life. I enjoyed being busy. My priority is my daughter. That will always be my number one priority. Now she is getting older, so I am getting more time to celebrate and concentrate on my own work; so here I am promoting the brand as much as possible," she said. Wish you luck!
