It is a known fact that Salman Khan likes to paint a canvas. And to our surprise, he is the one who painted the poster of his upcoming film Jai Ho, got released recently. It is for the first time when Dabangg star took the brush in hand and figured out a painting for a film. Till then, we got to know about his skills only from his close friends who received his works of art as gifts in the past.It is said that Salman was enthusiastic to have his fans on his flagship poster, so thousands of faces have been merged to make a close up shot of him. “Salman, along with brother Sohail Khan (who is directing the film as well as producing it along with Sunil Lulla) were keen to have something special as the first imagery of the film, as they are coming together after a long time,” informed sources.Produced by Eros International and Sohail Khan Productionz, Jai Ho is coming out in theatres on January 24. Interestingly, this movie would be his next release after Ek Tha Tiger, which hit theatres almost one and a half year back, making it the longest gap ever between his film releases.As per the sources, fans queued up on his social networking page to be a part of the poster, which the actor drew and gave to his digital team to incorporate. In fact, the Jai Ho font is in the actor's hand writing itself.Impressive art-work, we must say!

Buzz doing around the telly world has that popular actor Shantanu Maheshwari aka Sham of popular show Dil Dostii Dance (Cinevistaas Productions) on Channel V has decided to quit the show. However, the young actor stabbed the report saying he is going nowhere and will stick to the show till its end.According to the sources, “The creative head of the show, Palki Malhotra with whom Shantanu shares a very close relation was shown the door, allegedly because of her affinity towards him. With co-actors Shakti Mohan and Kunwar Amar supposedly not liking the importance Shantanu was showered in terms of screen time, and complaining to the channel about the same, the lanky guy was left alone when his dear friend Palki, bid farewell to the show.”It was also buzzed that Shantanu spreading news that he too has decided to close the D3 chapter from his book, when his sole pillar of support is no more with him in it. It is said to be the reason Shantanu walking out of the show.  However, Shantanu come out rubbishing all the rumors saying, “I really don’t want to give any reasons to all these rumours, but would just want to tell my fans that I am not quitting D3. I am very much a part of it, so they need not get anxious.”This must be a relief for the fans of Shantanu.

Songstress Taylor Swift is in news for in search for a property near her ex-beau Harry Styles’ London home. For those unaware, soon after their split, both Swift and Styles had claimed that they`d never get back together. However, after her decision to have property in Styles’ neighborhood, it is obvious that she will come across Styles more often than not. She`s house-hunting less than a mile from the One Direction star`s North London home. Sources close to Swift, 23, say that she is keen to have a pad in the capital, and she is very particular that she want one around Regent`s Park. On Friday, she spent time with her people looking for a home. A source close to Taylor said, “Taylor loves London and wants to live here for extended amounts of time so she`s looking for a place. She saw three properties in Regent`s Park.“If Taylor was to buy one of the apartments, she`d almost certainly bump into Harry regularly. It`s surprising that Taylor has done this. Those around her would have thought she`d do anything to avoid looking like she could be moving in on Harry again.”The couple after meeting last year in US, dated for 65 days until they split up during holiday in the Caribbean.

The youngest, cutest but a non-performer of Bigg Boss house, Pratyusha Banerjee  has been eliminated from the house after a tough vote-out last Saturday. She was in elimination with likes Gauhar Khan, Kamya Punjabi, Tanisha Mukherjee and Ajaz Khan. It was said to be the toughest vote-out of the season, where each contestant was equally important to the show.Talking about the experience on the show, Pratyusha admits that she felt vulnerable and unprotected as one of the inmates. “I was the youngest and I am also a very private person. I connect with very few close friends in real life. Suddenly, I was thrown together with all these people I had never met. Everyone in there was much older than me. It was scary. But it was also a challenge. I’ve come away from the experience much stronger and I’d like to think wiser.”Pratyusha is said to have dropped her popular show Balika Vadhu to participate in Bigg Boss. She added that she have made some good friends in there. “Kamya Punjabi was my best friend in there. I also grew very close to Armaanji (Armaan Kohli), Tanisha Mukherjee and very recently Ajaz Khan who entered Bigg Boss very late. They’re my friends for life.”As for doing another reality show, Pratyusha said, “Not for a very long time. And even if I am offered one, I’d think very carefully before doing it. Right now I only want my old life back.”About some memories in the house, she said, “No one had anything bad to say about me. I’d rather not think about the unpleasant side of the experience. Bigg Boss is the biggest reality-show in India, and perhaps in the world. I went into it on a clean slate. I had completed all my pending assignments and put a closure on personal issues. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Ram Leela', the promo of which has already been unveiled, was set to enjoy a solo release in the coming festive season, however now Kangna Ranaut starrer ‘Rajjo’ is too releasing on the same date.With so much effort put in to make delightful film the Director of Rajjo Vishwas Patil says –“I was waiting for an apt time to bring the film. Even though the main character Kangna (or Rajjo) plays a Mujra wali in the film, it isn't somber or depressing by any means”.The release date of a film is a matter of importance and thought about at stretch. 15th November was decided as the release date for 'Rajjo', after a lot of brain storming. ‘Rajjo’ would incidentally be arriving just 12 days after the release of 'Krrish 3' (3rd November) in which Kangna would be seen kicking butt.Well few people are talking about why Kangna wants her film release on a same date of Ramleela, But the makers of Rajjo says-“ However once the final cut of the 'Rajjo' was seen by people concerned, there was an added sense of confidence. It was felt that the originally decided date would be just right to set the stage for 'Rajjo' v/s 'Leela',".We will also get a chance to see two stunning actresses Kangna & Deepika playing title roles in their respective films, with such talent and glamour a clash in the offering would be inevitable.About the film Kangna seem confident, she says "Rajjo' is really close to my heart and I am glad it is being released this festive season. As for competition with other films, there would be one every week in any case. I am sure my producers are taking a good call and it comes from the trust and confidence they have in the product. I am particularly proud of the film and my work. The film is special and it will fetch an audience of its own. I strongly believe in director Vishwas Patil and music director Uttam Singh. Once you see the promos, which would be out very soon, you would know what I mean."
