 Feature Highlight: Highlights Diigo saves the day with "highlights". Highlights let you select the important snippets on a page and store them in your library with the page's bookmark. Let's try it. Just open a page, maybe one of your old-school bookmarks or one of your new cat bookmarks, and find the information on that page you actually care about. Select that important text. Got it? Okay, now put your hemet on, 'cause this might blow your mind! Click the highlight icon on the Diigo toolbar. It's the one with the "T" on a page with a yellow highlighter. You will notice that the selected text gets a yellow background. This means that the text has been saved in your library, and as long as you have the Diigo add-on the text will be highlighted on the page! How's that for easy?   Now you've highlighted the text. It will appear in your library within the bookmark for the page it is on. Go to your library and you can see how it works. If you're not sure how to get to your library, just click the second icon on the toolbar (Diigo icon to the left of the search bar) and then select "My Library »".

Sticky Notes on the Web What? I can put a sticky note on a web page? How? Oh, that's right! Diigo. Just right-click anywhere on the page and choose to "add a floating sticky note". Type up your note and choose "Post", then move the note anywhere on the page. You have to type a note first, before you move it where you want, otherwise there's nothing to move!

Use the “Save” option to bookmark a page. Bookmarking saves a link to the page in your online Diigo library, allowing you to easily access it later.

Highlighting can also be accomplished from the context pop-up. After the Chrome extension is installed, whenever you select text on a webpage, the context pop-up will appear, allowing you to accomplish text-related annotation. Highlight Pop-up Menu – After you highlight some text, position your mouse cursor over it and the highlight pop-up menu will appear. The highlight pop-up menu allows you to add notes to, share, or delete the highlight.

Sticky Note Click the middle icon on the annotation toolbar to add a sticky note to the page. With a sticky note, you can write your thoughts anywhere on a web page.

Attending the three day fest, Cinema beyond Boundaries in New York, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar feels good with the international film dignities. He is exchanging notes with Hollywood directors, writers and music composers on understanding the global perspective in cinema. The director also said that Indian film industry and Hollywood can learn a lot from each other as the two industries seek to cater to the evolving nature of cinema.“There will be something that I take from them and they will take from us. While Hollywood has had a huge influence on the Indian industry, Bollywood and its actors too are garnering a lot of attention in the western film world,” said the filmmaker, who is well-known for his films like Chandni Bar, Page 3, Fashion and Heroine. The event would focus on the global influence of Indian cinema, forecast changes in the fast growing and rapidly evolving filmmaking industry. “Cinema has changed drastically over the years and films are now being made in different genres like commercial, edgy and radical to cater to the tastes of an evolving viewership,” he added.“Indian cinema is no more limited to audiences in India. We have viewers all around the world and hence understanding the global perspective is a must. Cinema Beyond Boundaries would get the viewers and the filmmakers together and would help us in serving them with good quality cinema,” Bhandarkar said. Well said Madhur Bhandarkar!

It is a known fact that Salman Khan likes to paint a canvas. And to our surprise, he is the one who painted the poster of his upcoming film Jai Ho, got released recently. It is for the first time when Dabangg star took the brush in hand and figured out a painting for a film. Till then, we got to know about his skills only from his close friends who received his works of art as gifts in the past.It is said that Salman was enthusiastic to have his fans on his flagship poster, so thousands of faces have been merged to make a close up shot of him. “Salman, along with brother Sohail Khan (who is directing the film as well as producing it along with Sunil Lulla) were keen to have something special as the first imagery of the film, as they are coming together after a long time,” informed sources.Produced by Eros International and Sohail Khan Productionz, Jai Ho is coming out in theatres on January 24. Interestingly, this movie would be his next release after Ek Tha Tiger, which hit theatres almost one and a half year back, making it the longest gap ever between his film releases.As per the sources, fans queued up on his social networking page to be a part of the poster, which the actor drew and gave to his digital team to incorporate. Hollywood actor Paul Walker's death has came as a shock for everyone. A statement from his Facebook page announced that he had been a passenger in a friend’s car when it crashed just north of Los Angeles.The 40-year-old star of the Fast and the Furious films had been attending a charity event for Reach Out Worldwide at the time. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said officers found a red Porsche engulfed in flames.The two people inside the car were pronounced dead at the scene. A statement issued by Universal Pictures said they were “heartbroken” by the news and that they sent their “deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul’s family”.Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter to express their sorrow and grief. Varun Dhawan wrote "Can't believe Paul walker is gone. Life is crazy. Don't know why but this news has really depressed me. RIP Paul Walker". Preity Zinta expressed, "So sad to hear that Paul Walker died a fast and furious death in an accident in LA. Life is so short and fragile. May his soul rest in peace."Walker was best known for his role as Brian O'Conner in The Fast and The Furious and died in a car accident Saturday in Santa Clarita, California. He was 40.

Sunny Leone’s upcoming film Jackpot, directed by Kaizad Gustad, is scheduled to release on 13 December, 2013. The film, which is based on fast paced thriller con, also stars Sachiin J Joshi and Naseeruddin Shah.Speaking about the shooting Sachin Joshi who is excited for this film said, “The characters in this movie is very challenging and it will bring a tough competition between three of us. Audiences will get to see Sunny Leone's hidden talent. After Jism 2, Jackpot will give a new turn in her career. As beautiful sunny is her mind is equally powerful and intricate.”Porn star Sunny Leone, who is coming back in her Bollywood heroine’s avatar, is said to have done sizzling scene in the film. Filmmaker Kaizad Gustad shared a shooting still of how the opening credits of the film will look like. Kaizad said on his social networking page, “Jackpot. Opening credits. At Shoot.”The still of Sunny is a classic seductive pose, reminding us of yesteryear films. But we’re not sure if in the actual moving image of the credits, the chandelier is going to influence Sunny’s way and hit her on the head or something.
