After winning million fans as the protagonist, Maanvi, in Star Plus’ hit show Ek Hazaaro Mein Meri Behena Hai, the pretty and vivacious Niaa Sharma went missing from the screen.And now, she is coming back with a new show. She will anchor the finale episode of MTV Webbed, being produced by Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms. It is based on cyber crime and the final episode will air on 15 December 2013. Actors like Veebha Anand, Vrinda Dawda and Chestha Bhagat will be seen in the finale episode.Confirming the report, Niaa said, “Yes, I have already shot for the final episode and it was super fun shooting after a while now. I got opportunity to showcase my hosting skills after a long time. I did anchor a bit during my school days. In daily soaps, you have to enact a character but here I have to be myself. I always wanted to be a part of a youth show and I am happy to host MTV Webbed.”Talking about anchoring whether she would like to do more in the same field or concentrate more on acting, Niaa said, “Yes, I would love to. But according to me, hosting business is male dominated in Indian television. The way men can mimic or crack any kind of joke, it connects with viewers. It doesn’t mean female can’t do it but daily soaps are female oriented and anchoring is male dominated.”Indeed, good news for her fans!

After witnessing a lot new characters in Star Plus’ numero uno Diya Aur Baati Hum, soon it will see two well-known actors, Preeti Chaudhary, show impressed one and all as the lead in Colors’ Kairi and actress Maninee Mishra, who was last seen in Colors' Madhubala.Earlier, it was also reported that actors like Neil Bhatt, Alan Kapoor and Minal Mogan will enter the show as cadets who will be on the same mission of becoming IPS officers like Sandhya aka Deepika Singh.Now with the show proceeding towards the IPS track where Sandhya will start her training, the makers are not leaving any stone unturned to make the new track engaging. Hence, popular actress Maninee and Preeti will enter the show for this particular track.Preeti Chaudhary, who has been a favourite of Shashi Sumeet Mittal Production Pvt. Ltd, is happy about getting back to the makers. She averred, “It’s always nice to get back to Shashi Mam and Sumeet Sir’s show. I feel lucky to have got a second chance to work with them.”Talking about the character, Preeti said she is playing a politician. “Yes, I play a politician who comes down to Pushkar, Rajasthan from Delhi. This is when she bumps into Sandhya (Deepika Singh) the aspiring IPS officer and the story progresses heron. This character has different shades to it and the viewers will enjoy watching it,” she said.She added, “I have a very different look. In fact at the moment we are working on my haircut. They are about to give a total makeover.”It would be interesting to see her in politician’s role?

The song will remind you off Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan's Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje song from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, this peppy number is rocking with its dance moves, foot-tapping beats and the sizzling chemistry between Deepika and Ranveer.We must say this is a huge feat for the entire team as it is a highly awaited film from SLB's kitty. The film is slated to release on November 15, 2013.

Post her traditional Indian style avatar, Pooja Gor, better known as Pratigya of Star Plus’ hit show Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, says she is looking for an image makeover. She has also done reality show The Serial, just to widen up her horizons in the acting field.Speaking about her plans, “I want to try out different characters and sequences to test my own caliber and strength as an actor,” said Pooja, who also appeared on Imagine TV’s Kitani Mohabbaat Hai. She has been roped in to play lead character in Bindaas channel’s unusual love stories based youth show Yeh Hai Aashiqui, hosted by Vikrant Massey.Pooja will essay role of Charulata, a woman who tries to find happiness outside her marriage, in the episodic. The story is based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel, Nastanirh and Pooja will be seen as a traditional Bengali woman.About her character and show, Pooja said, “Honestly, I took up the episode in Yeh Hai Aashiqui because it has a complete Bengal flavour to it. I am fond of Bengali culture. I am glad the way it has turned out. I am very happy with the way I look.”The particular episode will air this week on Bindaas!

Popular heartthrob of television Gautam Rode, currently seen in Star Plus’ most likable shows-Saraswatichandra and Nach Baliye, says his jam-packed busy life where he works in all 30 days of month doesn’t allow him to be in a relationship. He also adds that he is open for a relationship only if he gets time.Gautam hosts Nach Baliye, along with mad-cap Karan Wahi. Both share a great bond on the sets that actually help them to create magic on screen. About his tuning with Karan, he said, “It is a lot of fun, as anchoring is more about creating a comfort level with the contestants and judges. Karan and I are comfy in real life as well, he is chote and I am bade. Many a times we improvise on stage and people seem to enjoy our jokes. ”It is the second time when Karan and Gautam are back as host of NB. About the response and feedbacks, he said, “If we are back, it shows we must have done something right. On a more serious note the last season rocked due to the great chemistry between the jodis and excellent judging. Everybody had a blast including us. They know it is in jest and boy banter is always fun to watch, as it lightens the otherwise tense atmosphere.”Considering the fact that the show is based on love, dance and relationship, Gautam was quizzed as if he also feels the need to have a Baliye. “On the set it does, but practically speaking I am too busy to think about getting into a relationship. The star actress Sonakshi Sinha recently attended an event held in Ahmedabad where she had to experience something bitter that was hard to bear. She was promoting her upcoming film in the event, which was organised comprised of an all female audience.When she took the stage many women mobbed on the dias covering her completely, not giving her enough space for breathing. The situation worsened when a women’s elbow hit Sonakshi’s face leaving no option for her but to leave the event immediately. The actress who had maintained a calm demeanor lost her patience and got all worked up. An eyewitness revealed, “She got irritated and decided to leave. With great difficulty her staff could make way for the actress to back to the hotel room.”Apart from this, Sonakshi Sinha recently graced the opening ceremony of 15th Mumbai Film Festival at the Liberty Cinema Hall in Mumbai. Hollywood actor Brad Pitt proclaimed his love for fiancée Angelina Jolie, when he went on to splurge out $300,000 on an expensive diamond necklace for her while shopping together in Hong Kong with kids. Recently when Jolie was scouting locations for her movie Unbroken, with the kids, Pitt was attending film festivals in Telluride, US, and Toronto in Canada to promote his film 12 Years a Slave and then he went to England to work on action-drama Fury.After a long time they met up in Hong Kong last weekend and Jolie brought their twins Knox and Vivienne to spend time with their father. During the trip, Brangelina planned to go shopping and it was there that Pitt spent over $300,000 on a diamond necklace for Angelina Jolie plus three watches.Later on, Pitt, along with 5-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne, left for a day of fun at Legoland in Windsor in Birkshire, England. They were seen waiting in line for various rides like any normal guest. They seems like having great fun during their journey in the amusement park, hopping on the Fairy Tale Brook boat ride, a pirate ship ride and playing games together.Must say, Pitt is great husband as well as adorable daddy.
