Films capture journeys but in Imtiaz Ali's much-awaited Highway, the journey has made the film. Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala and starring Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda, the film traverses six states of north India and captures the landscape of the different regions as it goes along.Highway Diaries, are short video snippets that capture the journey of the film and all the exciting experiences that the cast and crew had during its making.In the latest episode of Highway Diaries titled 'Songs of the Valley', Imtiaz Ali is seen sitting with gujari folk singer Begum Jaan and her group, engrossed in  their music, while shooting for' Highway' at Aru valley in Kashmir. He says, “...while it (the song) should connect with the larger experience that Veera (Alia's character) has in the film, it should still be about that time and place..and its music."The film comes out in February!

Former Victoria’s Secret supermodel Heidi Klum has made an announcement that she has decided against walking the ramp in lingerie anymore. Klum, 40, who in the past has been most sought-after bikini model, says that now she finds it all quite uncomfortable now."I wouldn`t model with my underwear down the runway anymore. I think I would find it a little uncomfortable, maybe," said Klum, who also pressed on the fact that she wouldn’t discontinue taking modelling assignments. "I still do photoshoots for covers and different things or advertising stuff," she added.On the other note, even though the actress once turned up dressing as a 95-year-old woman for Halloween bash. She was dolled-up with wrinkles and age spots, still, she isn’t scared of getting old. In fact, the model says that she won’t ever go for plastic surgery, as she finds the idea very scary. "I've never done anything," said the 40-year-old on Thursday. "I've been too scared, to be honest with you." While speaking to the sources recently, the model said that she has not yet taken fillers or injections for those pesky lines on her forehead. "Botox or bangs," she laughed. "I go for bangs. I'm scared that all of a sudden you're changing too much, your face starts changing," the mom of four said. "I would have a hard time looking in the mirror and seeing something that I'm not used to seeing. I'd be afraid!"Well said!

Hollywood actor Chris Pine revealed that to play Jack Ryan in Star Trek, he gathered advice from actor Alec Baldwin. For those unaware, initially, Pine, 33, was hesitant about signing Tom Clancy’s famous spy hero in the Jack Ryan franchise reboot.So he went to Baldwin for advice, as the latter starred in the first movie, The Hunt for Red October. "Alec and I were doing voice-overs for an animated film and sometimes we`d meet as one of us was reading or coming in. I saw him one time and I was like a kid, I was like, `Hey, I`m playing Jack Ryan, do you have any advice`?" Pine said."He just grabbed me by the shoulder and said, `Do it. Do it. And don`t let go`. Because he obviously, famously, left to do A Streetcar Named Desire on Broadway," he added. Pine worked really hard for the film, and didn’t come up with simple approach. "I would have been happy making Marathon Man or The French Connection. I would have done a long, slow action-free film and been very, very happy. That`s my personal leaning, but it is 2013 and you`d get a geriatric audience if you didn`t have some kind of fight stuff in there," Pine said."So between my reticence about making it too much like Bourne and Bond, and the inclinations of the studio to make it just that, I do hope we found some place in the middle," he added.We’re glad to say that you prove your mettle very well!

It is a known fact that Deepika Padukone was approached for the seventh part of Hollywood flick Fast and Furious, but due to her recent released film Ram Leela, she couldn’t take it up. However, the gorgeous actress says she does not regret being unable to make her debut in English film world.“I don't regret it. I had to work out things for Ram Leela here, I couldn't have left the process mid way, and I had given my commitment here first. Looking at the way the film Ram Leela has got response, I feel good as my hard work has paid off,” shares the long less.Deepika, 27, make her plans clear that she is still open to doing films whenever the right offer comes up. “I would love to do a Hollywood film. The drama not ends here. When the day was about to end, Katrina had another change of heart. She messaged her team asking them to call all members of the press back to the first venue at 6.15 pm. By now the journalists had enough of her starry tantrums and when the star reached the venue hardly a handful had turned up, among them a leading TV channel. At the moment B-town actor Sanjay Dutt is enjoying his time with family as he is on furlough for 14 days from Yerwada Central Prison. However, it is learnt that due to health reasons he is seeking an extension of 14 more days.He has already written an application and the decision would be out today and it will be taken by the Mumbai police, a senior officer from the prison department said. For those unaware, Dutt is facing 42-month sentence under the Arms Act in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.However, he came out of prison on furlough by the state prisons department on October 1. Now his leave period ends on October 15, and he is expected to surrender on October 16 as furlough excludes the period of travel.Meanwhile, not only Dutt, but every prisoner has the right to seek extension of leave for two weeks, however, one must mention ailment reason in the application, as only then will it be considered a police report is sought afresh. Also going by the manual, only one extension can be granted. Sources from Yerwada jail said that they have received the actor’s application. "Dutt has also attached medical certificates with the application. We have asked for a report from police. We expect it by Monday. We will decide after we get it," the officer said.Let’s wait for the decision to come out today!

Many a times, we have heard about an actor getting injured while shooting for a film.Last it was Hrithik Roshan, who had received a head injury while shooting for his upcoming film Bang Bang. Now latest to fall victim is singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar, who received severe cuts on his left cheek while shooting stunts scenes in Bangkok.  It is learnt that he was shooting for a television commercial for a multinational brand, when he cut his face and was rushed to the hospital. As luck would have it, he didn’t receive any serious injuries, and he made his way to the sets after doctors stitched up his cut. Sources say that earlier Ali’s body double had to perform the stunts, but he didn’t resemble the current long-hair and French beard Ali is sporting. Hence, Ali decided to do it himself, and in turn, he injured his face. Fortunately things are under control now, and we wish the actor speedy recovery!

She is down with viral fever and doctors advised her bed rest.As per the sources Katrina Kaif is on very heavy antibiotics and is currently avoiding the camera due to the adverse reaction of the medicines on her face. “She has not been keeping well and was advised complete rest. She was down with viral fever and the strong dose of medicines had an adverse reaction it led to swelling on her face,” said sources.Apart from shooting of her upcoming films titled Bang Bang and Dhoom 3, the shooting dates of her endorsements have been affected due to her illness. “As Bang Bang and Kabir Khan’s film shoot has been pushed ahead, she had time on hand to complete some of her brand assignments before November. But now she has decided to finish dubbing for Dhoom 3 instead,” added sources close to the actress.Does it mean the actress has also missed her secret vacations with her alleged beau Ranbir Kapoor in New York? Speculations were rife of late that Kareena Kapoor Khan was set to get paired up with her Bodyguard co-star Salman Khan yet again for one of the most awaited films, to be directed by Sooraj Barjatya.With the movie, Salman is coming back with Sooraj Barjatya after the gap of 14 years, as they last worked together in Hum Saath Saath Hain. Earlier reports said that actresses from Diana Penty, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra to Ileana D’Cruz were approached for the role.And latest the sources claimed Salman has recommended his co-star of films like Mr. and Mrs. Khanna, Kyunki, and Bodyguard for the movie. It was also said that she has already been signed for the same, however, the further reports from sources has that the rumours are not true at all."There is no truth in it. We have not finalised anyone yet. Lot of speculation is happening over who the heroine will be but we are yet to finalise things. In a month's time, we would decide," sources said. The makers are yet to set the title of the film, which would go on the floors in June next year. The shooting might take place in Mumbai, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Here’s one more high-profiled project landed in the kitty of petite actress Parineeti Chopra. She has signed another romantic film titled Daawat-e-Ishq post two hit films Ishaqzaade and Shuddh Desi Romance. The project will be directed by Do Dooni Char and Ishaqzaade fame Habib Faisal and features Aditya Roy Kapur, Karan Wahi in the male lead roles. Anupam Kher would be seen essaying supporting character in the film, which is said to be a romantic comedy.Parineeti will work for the second time with Habib, while it would be her first venture with Aditya Roy, who rose to fame with Aashiqui 2. Karan Wahi, popular TV actor who has done shows like Dill Mill Gyye, Kuch Toh Loh Kahenge, Indian Idol Junior (hosting), will make his debut with the film. Veteran actor Anupam Kher confirmed the news sharing it on his micro-blogging site, “Delighted to be part of Daawat-e-Ishq with Parineeti Chopra, Habib Faisal, Aditya Roy Kapur and Karan Wahi.”Currently Parineeti is busy shooting for director Vinil Mathew on his project Hasee Toh Phasee, being produced by Karan Johar. Buzz has that Priyanka, who has a dream to live in sea-facing bungalow, is looking out for property in Bandra to fulfill her dream.According to the sources, “Priyanka is eyeing properties at prime locations like Khar and Bandra, a favourite with celebrities.” The actress had earlier said, “I want a sea-facing bungalow in Bandra. But there aren't any.” Nonetheless, her hunt continues. It seems property investments have lured Bollywood celebrities these days as recently Kangana Ranaut has bought a flat in Bandra, and reportedly Hrithik Roshan is also looking to buy property. “Hrithik is looking at residential areas and will take a call soon,” revealed sources.Priyanka Chopra mainly belongs to Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior. Bollywood ace choreographer Sandip Soparrkar and his beautiful wife Jesse Randhawa set fire on the stage and stole the spotlight as showstoppers for Wendell Rodricks show through their scintillating dance performance at Seagram’s Blenders Pride Fashion Tour in Chandigarh. This is first time that Blender’s Pride fashion tour experienced show stoppers as dancers rather than the usual Bollywood star walking the ramp.Both Sandip and Jesse looked absolutely stunning in Wendell Rodricks creations while performing on the stage.
