Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence loves to play Katniss Everdeen in the sci-fi adventure drama the Hunger Games: Catching Fire, where she had to eat raw fish in order to get into the skin of her character.Recently the 23-year-old said in a statement, "I had to eat a raw fish! And not like a sushi raw fish. I held a fish and had to eat it. And for the record, it tastes exactly how it smells." She further revealed that the crew of the movie kept on motivating her to do it. "They kept saying its Sushi and I am like, I am beholding it and I don’t like fish. But no, I don’t care, give me some soya sauce on it and give me some rice."Meanwhile, what comes as exciting news was that Lawrence was worried she would get bored playing Katniss. ''I actually really worried at the beginning of these movies that I would get so bored of playing the same person for so long. But I still love playing Katniss and I am really looking forward to being her again. There's honestly no part of it that I'm bored with,'' she concluded.Meanwhile, the sequel from the trilogy is on its way. It releases in India November 29 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The colourful and vibrant line of veteran designer Wendell Rodricks mesmerised the audience and the moves of the dynamic duo spell bounded the viewers.Sandip Soparrkar said, “It was amazing dancing for our dear friend Wendell, he is a very creative and a wonderful person, I am glad that both our opening and the show stopper dances were appreciated, Jesse and me are looking forward to the other shows of the tour.”The Seagram's Blenders Pride Fashion Tour '13 brought the fusion of dance and fashion with designer Wendell Rodricks and choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, Wendell’s collection was the closing of the Chandigarh shows.Wendell Rodricks said, "The show was one of its kind where dance took the centre stage and there were no modelling on the ramp, it was more of big party on stage. Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth, who was recently in news for his split with controversial girlfriend Miley Cyrus, is said to have hurt his finger in a bid to make an impression on fans by playing a daring game of Five Finger Fillet in front of them.All set to be seen in upcoming film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Hemsworth, 23, was participating in a press show when he by chance struck his finger while playing the game in which a player places his palm down, spreads his fingers and attempts to stab in between the spaces with a sharp object.Not only that he ended up hurting his finger, but in the process he also damaged a $10,000 table. While about the incident on the chat show, Hemsworth said, "It was the first stop we did on The Hunger Games press tour and I wanted to impress everyone and I'd had a couple of drinks. I missed a little bit on the little pinky - see the black dot? Apparently it was a $10,000 table as well that I ruined." Speaking about the same, Hemsworth said that he always believed that he can’t ever go wrong in this game, as he has been playing it since long. "I used to do it a lot in science class when I was in high school - I didn't love science class. So I'd sit there in this class and use my pen to do this. You start with a pen and work your way up to a knife," said Hemsworth.

Son of veteran actor-comedian Jagdeep, actor Javed Jaffrey claims that he never used his father’s name to get work in the film industry. The multi-talented chap is known for his roles in films like 100 Days, Fire, Earth, Salaam Namaste, Singh is Kingg and 3 Idiots and others."Being the son or daughter of a legendary film personality you get more respect. But I have never used that as an influence to enter industry. It is not that I got work because of him. My father did not do a film for me or launched me, he wanted us to do things on our own," Javed said."Rather I never thought I will enter the film industry, it happened all by chance. Destiny played a part and brought me here in this industry," he said. Jaffrey is known for his versatility, as he has done positive, negative as well as comic roles. "I like to play all kind of roles. You can't do same stuff every time as it becomes boring. Comedy is my soft spot. But I love doing action, thriller, drama and negative. I am not comfortable with sexuality, intimate scenes," he said.Next, he will appear in debutante director Faraz Haider's War Chhod Na Yaar. "I am playing captain Qureshi from the Punjab region of Pakistan. So my tone in the film is Punjabi-Urdu. The film establishes relationship in an interesting way. I had great fun doing this film," he said.The film also stars Sharman Joshi and Soha Ali Khan!

Latest buzz from the well-placed sources in Tinseltown has that actress Rose McGowan has walked down the aisle with her artist fiancé Davey Detail. Close sources informed that the pretty-faced actress, 40, donned a Monique Lhuillier gown for the outdoor Jewish ceremony that took place at the Paramour Mansion in LA. The wedding was attended by family and few close friends only."The ceremony was enchanting and magical. The couple wed in front of about 60 people, all close friends and immediate family of the bride and groom," sources said. What is rather interesting is that the big moment came in McGowan’s life just week after fire had broke into her home, damaging it totally.Now it is expected that the couple would celebrate their honeymoon in Tahiti. Few days back, the actress had said, "I've never been to Tahiti. I've always dreamed of having one of those little huts over the water."Gushing over Detail, she had exclaimed, "He's magic. He's made me a better woman. And I've made him a better man!"You may know that the two had been dating since last year, and Detail had proposed McGowan over the summer. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently attended annual lecture at the Penguin in New Delhi where he unveiled about the thoughts of his father Mr. Harivansh Ray Bachchan. He said he remains puzzled by his father's habit in his last days of watching Hindi films rather than turning to his greatest companion his beloved books.Bachchan said his father had called him his greatest poetry. “My biggest problem in my life I do not know whether I am a free verse or a couplet, a chaupai or a shloka. I don't know what he saw in the flickering darkness it had to be more than Hindi cinema's excessive poetic justice in three hours! Did he see a flame that burns itself up lighting up the fire of the written word within? We are our own monster an animal of many animal parts.”During the conversation, Big B also confessed that he would try and build a girls’ school. “True equality can only exist if the whole society embraces it,” he said. She will be bestowed by Pegasus of the Region Tuscany Award by Cristina Scaletti, Tuscany's regional councilor of culture at the opening day of the fest.Other personalities and their films like Shyam Benegal’s Ankur, Mahesh Bhatt’s Arth, Vinay Shukla’s Godmother and Deepa Mehta’s Fire will also screen. Last year the River To River festival held a retrospective of Amitabh Bachchan's films.The 63-year-old actress said the Pegasus honour is big because when a state recognizes you, it's very heartening. “I'm honoured and humbled and grateful to the writers and directors who cast me in challenging roles.
