Young guns Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer upcoming film Gunday is set to introduce the real life of Bengal. It would be for the first time when film industry’s popular banner Yash Raj Films is coming out with a new pasture, Bengal and its customs.Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra, it is scheduled to hit theatres on Valentine's Day on 14th of February 2014.  “Shot extensively in West Bengal, especially Kolkata, the film's backdrop essentially lends itself to releasing the film in Bengali. Besides, Gunday has another strong Bengali connect as Bappi da has given music and this is the first time that YRF and Bappi da have come together,” said a spokesperson.The coveted banner release Calcutta's most turbulent times of the 70's and this is at the soul of the film with the characters seeped in the culture of that time. The shooting of the film was done in Kolkata and some parts at Durgapur and Raniganj. According to sources, the film's story is based on the lives of two small time thieves who later get involved in the coal mafia. “The plans for releasing the film also in Bengali was finalised at the pre-production stage,” added sources.YRF plans to release the teaser poster and teaser trailer in Bengali this week.

In B-town the camaraderie between the actors keep on changing between time to time, and actress Juhi Chawla didn’t shy away in admitting so, while speaking to the sources recently. She mentioned that her friendship with superstar Shah Rukh Khan is not the same as before."Whose friendship is the same as ever before anyways! And we are very, very busy people and Shah Rukh Khan is all the more busy than anyone, so where we have time for friendships? But of course we are friends, no doubt," said Juhi."Not just him, anybody from the industry; where do I meet anyone as such? It just doesn't happen. We are all running around doing our work," she added. The two have starred in various films like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Darr, Duplicate, Yes Boss, and most of their films were big hits. In fact their pairing was most loved, after Shah Rukh-Kajol."Of course I would love to do a film with him. Anybody will be interested in doing a film with him. But how, when, where... all this, maybe you should ask him only. We did wonderful films, we had great directors, I had a wonderful time but all that is history now. But I am so glad that it is a very good history," she said.Juhi will be next seen in Gulab Gang!

Actor and anchor Karan Wahi is a busy man nowadays as he has been juggling with juggling between shooting for his upcoming film and hosting the reality show Nach Baliye 6. And recently he made a quick trip to Pink City for some work.Upon his arrival, he said, "I am here just for a day and I don't think I will be able to take out time to explore the city. I will probably have to find time later and come and explore Jaipur."Recalling his first trip to the city, he said, "I think I was in the sixth or the seventh standard when I first came to Jaipur. At that time, I had visited many forts and palaces, but the one place that I remember is Hawa Mahal. After that, for some reason, I haven't been able to make a trip to the city in which I could go around and explore various places. In between, I had come for a day to play a match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in the city." In his debut TV show Remix, Karan played a boy from Rajasthan, which was very much evident in his dialogues as well. "My first role was that of a Rajput boy. But at that time, I didn't have to do much research on that character. The channel and the production house had done the research and told me how to portray it. I was really new at that time and was more concerned about facing the camera and saying my dialogues," he recalled.We wish you luck with the upcoming endeavors!

Popular heartthrob of television Gautam Rode, currently seen in Star Plus’ most likable shows-Saraswatichandra and Nach Baliye, says his jam-packed busy life where he works in all 30 days of month doesn’t allow him to be in a relationship. He also adds that he is open for a relationship only if he gets time.Gautam hosts Nach Baliye, along with mad-cap Karan Wahi. Both share a great bond on the sets that actually help them to create magic on screen. About his tuning with Karan, he said, “It is a lot of fun, as anchoring is more about creating a comfort level with the contestants and judges. Karan and I are comfy in real life as well, he is chote and I am bade. Many a times we improvise on stage and people seem to enjoy our jokes. ”It is the second time when Karan and Gautam are back as host of NB. About the response and feedbacks, he said, “If we are back, it shows we must have done something right. On a more serious note the last season rocked due to the great chemistry between the jodis and excellent judging. Everybody had a blast including us. They know it is in jest and boy banter is always fun to watch, as it lightens the otherwise tense atmosphere.”Considering the fact that the show is based on love, dance and relationship, Gautam was quizzed as if he also feels the need to have a Baliye. “On the set it does, but practically speaking I am too busy to think about getting into a relationship. We all are aware of the fact that Aamir Khan is very much protective and concerned about his kids, whether they’re Junaid and daughter Ira from his first wife Reena Dutta or a one-year-old son Azad with second wife Kiran Rao. And as of now he is in Delhi, shooting for his forthcoming film Peekay for filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, where he’s spending time with Junaid, who is being the assistant of the director in the film. Reportedly, Aamir is the one who suggested his 18-year-old son Junaid Khan not to take up acting yet, but instead start by learning about Indian cinema. Subsequently, Junaid has taken up the role of an assistant director to film-maker Rajkumar Hirani for Peekay.      Sources from the sets said it is gathered that Aamir was seen having heart-to-heart conversations with his young son. The actor knows that Junaid is on the threshold of adult life and he wants to be there for him when the young man makes important decisions, be it in matters of the heart or career.
