Doing an initiative along with The Clean & Clear MTV Dream Project, which helps to fulfill the dreams of over a thousand homeless girls, Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor feels he is living his dream. The initiative is a joint project of M.A.D and The Clean & Clear that has titled Ketto. The actor, who has provided professional services through Ketto, has personally helped fulfill 17-year-old Manisha's dream, through a platform that connects people to a 1000 young, underprivileged girls across India, to make their small yet precious dreams come true. In Manisha's case, it meant a cycle to take her younger siblings to school.Kunal expressed, “Initiatives such as these help individuals like us to fulfill the dreams of these girls. When I got the chance to be that helping hand for Manisha to achieve her simple yet precious dream, I felt so much happiness! More so, I was very moved by what her dream was, she did not want the cycle for herself but for her siblings. I hope that girls like Manisha never stop dreaming.”Manisha, whose father is a cancer patient, has been living in Mumbai with her family for the last 12 years. She said, “My father has been suffering from cancer for quite a while. My mother has to spend most of her time in the hospital, to meet doctors, buy medicines and support my father. I did my best to make our lives better. Being the eldest child, I took the responsibility of taking care of the house and my younger siblings. The play school they go to is very far, and I walk everyday to pick them up as they cannot come on their own. That is why my dream was to own a cycle, so that I pick them up and come home safe and continue with my other tasks.”We appreciate your move Kunal.

The fact is not hidden from anyone that in Sinha family, all the male characters are named from Ramayana; however, the misfits are found in Sonakshi Sinha and her mom Poonam. Even the house is named Ramayan."My father (Shatrughan Sinha) has three brothers - Bharat, Laxman and Ram. And my brothers are named Luv and Kush. So my house is aptly named as Ramayan. Just my mom and I are a misfit in this Ramayan," Sonakshi said.Meanwhile, the actress also broke her silence on her father’s extra-marital affair with yesteryears’ actress Reena Roy, who Sonakshi resembles to. Here is what she said: "I think it happened when I was not even born. I found out when I was growing up and started understanding things. But I'm not going to crucify my father for something he did years back. It is his past. And everybody has a past. So I don't think too much about it. Nor do I pay attention to it. Hollywood actor Chris Pine revealed that to play Jack Ryan in Star Trek, he gathered advice from actor Alec Baldwin. For those unaware, initially, Pine, 33, was hesitant about signing Tom Clancy’s famous spy hero in the Jack Ryan franchise reboot.So he went to Baldwin for advice, as the latter starred in the first movie, The Hunt for Red October. "Alec and I were doing voice-overs for an animated film and sometimes we`d meet as one of us was reading or coming in. I saw him one time and I was like a kid, I was like, `Hey, I`m playing Jack Ryan, do you have any advice`?" Pine said."He just grabbed me by the shoulder and said, `Do it. Do it. And don`t let go`. Because he obviously, famously, left to do A Streetcar Named Desire on Broadway," he added. Pine worked really hard for the film, and didn’t come up with simple approach. "I would have been happy making Marathon Man or The French Connection. I would have done a long, slow action-free film and been very, very happy. That`s my personal leaning, but it is 2013 and you`d get a geriatric audience if you didn`t have some kind of fight stuff in there," Pine said."So between my reticence about making it too much like Bourne and Bond, and the inclinations of the studio to make it just that, I do hope we found some place in the middle," he added.We’re glad to say that you prove your mettle very well!

Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan, who rarely gets to see in Hindi films, recently appeared in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s action thriller Bullett Raja opposite Saif Ali Khan  and Jimmy Shergil. He says he is a big fan of Tigmanshu’s films and was surprised when he called him for a role in his film.“My jaw dropped when I was first offered Bullett Raja. I met Tigmanshu Dhulia for the first time over dinner in Lucknow. As we were about to finish he said that I was doing his film. I was very happy to be a part of his film. I have been a big fan of him since Haasil. He makes my kind of cinema. The characters in his films are excellent,” said Ravi, who portrayed the role of a woman in Bullett Raja.He says the role was quite challenging. “This has been my most challenging role in the 22 years of my career. I have never played a woman. I also make out with a woman in the film, while wearing a sari. It's completely mad,” reveals Ravi.Produced by Fox Star Studios, Bullett Raja also features Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Grover, Chunky Pandey, Jimmy Shergil, Vidyut Jamwal and others. It was released on November 28 with mixed reviews.

Elli Avram, the actress and model of Swedish-Greek origin, who has been eliminated from the Bigg Boss - Saath 7 house can't hide her gratitude for the warmth that the reality show's host and Bollywood star Salman Khan's extended to her during the show."I don't know why he was so nice to me. He is a big superstar. And his kindness meant a lot to me. I think he sensed that I was all alone in Bigg Boss house. The only foreigner. He helped me feel comfortable in Bigg Boss by just the way he spoke to me. Of course, I soon became comfortable in there. I've learnt a lot of Hindi in there," said Elli, who was evicted on Saturday.Elli comes out from Bigg Boss with a good feeling about most of the inmates. "My friends say, I find everyone to be good and likeable. But I can't help it. I don't have unkind thoughts about anyone inside the Bigg Boss house. Yes, there were stressful moments and ugly scenes with some of them. After Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is all set to entice the audience with his upcoming film Mirza, which has written by Gulzar. The film will star Harshvardhan Kapoor, son of Anil Kapoor, in the titular role."I found Mirza on the sets of Delhi 6," Mehra says. "I was shooting in Delhi with Sonam, and Harshvardhan just happened to be hanging around. I looked at him, and my gaze stopped. This man has a dramatic presence." Once he saw him, Mehra was all mesmerized, and went to Sonam to ask about his discovery of the day, as he was not aware that she was his sibling. "She giggled. And then she told me that he was her younger brother. At that point, I didn't know that he'd make his way as Mirza, but one thing I knew for sure - I wanted to make him act." He further reveals that after meeting Harshvardhan, they both kept in touch, and then he went on to sign him for Mirza, before the release of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.The film will be ready only by 2015. As of now Mehra is looking for Sahiban (Mirza's lover). "There's very little time to prepare. With Mirza, I want to explore the intricacies of romance. I want to find my expression of love - which I've never attempted."Way to go!

Even though Indra Kumar-directed Grand Masti worked well at the box-office, and turned out to be the first adult film to enter in 100-crore-club, the film has been written off by the critics, and has garnered a lot of disapproval.In fact, film director Zoya Akhtar has nothing good to say about the adult comedy film Grand Masti, and says she would never waste her money for such movies."Grand Masti... I wouldn't even enter to watch it. I have seen the promo and I know that it is not for me. It is appalling, it will make me very irritable and there is no way I am going to give money to this film," the 40-year-old said.The film starred Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Riteish Deshmukh. And even though Zoya is not disturbed that a bad film like Grand Masti made money, but it does hurt her when good cinema fails to impress the audience. "I feel sad when good films don't make money. When bad films make money, I am like 'something had to come out of it, he has no talent so he might as well make some cash'. But a good filmmaker should make money," she said at the launch of film critic Anupama Chopra's book 100 Films To See Before You Die.We hope things would change for better in coming days!

We all know that India is counted as a developing nation, but it is learnt that megastar Amitabh Bachchan is not at all happy about this fact. "I feel proud of the fact that those very things that India was once criticized for, like our growth of population, etc is now looked upon by developed nations for great consumer consumption. It goes well. I hate India being called as a developing nation. I want it to be known as a developed nation. I think we are moving forward in that direction. I don't believe in goals. I hope there is some opportunity and challenge that the future directors will offer me. Each decade is providing great expansion in our medium of media and entertainment. Like the growth of television, growing mobile penetration," Bachchan said.He added, "In our business of films we are judged by people like you. Audiences make us, their taste changes. They decide what kind of films and actors they like to watch. It is important to be in tune with the audience. The most difficult task in our business is to know what they are going to like and dislike."If we are able to judge how the audience will appreciate a particular kind of film, then we will make those kind of films. After winning million fans as the protagonist, Maanvi, in Star Plus’ hit show Ek Hazaaro Mein Meri Behena Hai, the pretty and vivacious Niaa Sharma went missing from the screen.And now, she is coming back with a new show. She will anchor the finale episode of MTV Webbed, being produced by Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms. It is based on cyber crime and the final episode will air on 15 December 2013. Actors like Veebha Anand, Vrinda Dawda and Chestha Bhagat will be seen in the finale episode.Confirming the report, Niaa said, “Yes, I have already shot for the final episode and it was super fun shooting after a while now. I got opportunity to showcase my hosting skills after a long time. I did anchor a bit during my school days. In daily soaps, you have to enact a character but here I have to be myself. I always wanted to be a part of a youth show and I am happy to host MTV Webbed.”Talking about anchoring whether she would like to do more in the same field or concentrate more on acting, Niaa said, “Yes, I would love to. But according to me, hosting business is male dominated in Indian television. The way men can mimic or crack any kind of joke, it connects with viewers. Former Victoria’s Secret supermodel Heidi Klum has made an announcement that she has decided against walking the ramp in lingerie anymore. Klum, 40, who in the past has been most sought-after bikini model, says that now she finds it all quite uncomfortable now."I wouldn`t model with my underwear down the runway anymore. I think I would find it a little uncomfortable, maybe," said Klum, who also pressed on the fact that she wouldn’t discontinue taking modelling assignments. All set to be seen in upcoming action-comedy Boss, superstar Akshay Kumar revealed while promoting the Anthony D’Souza directorial, that he has this greed of doing good work, and it is in his nature to not take success for granted.He also revealed that he feels a sense of thrill doing stunts in his films, on his own, and exclusively for Boss, he has also avoided cable action. “In Boss, there is no cable action because youngsters are getting bored of it. They feel that the actors are not doing much — the cables are in all the jumps etc. In this film I have avoided cables. I just sit with my 10-year-old son and he gives me so much input. Recently, Hollywood actor Tom Hanks had made know that he is suffering from diabetes. Now the latest Hollywood star who has been diagnosed with diabetes is James Bond star Roger Moore. His latest tests have shown that he is suffering from the same disease.For the uninitiated, the diagnosis came after the 86-year-old star-actor was taken to the emergency doctor in Monaco by his wife Kristina Tholstrup, who was alarmed after he began to lose weight and was passing out recently. Putting some light on the same, Moore said, "I have got the dreaded Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks came out with the fact he has diabetes, and about four or five weeks ago I was falling asleep and just feeling terrible and dying of thirst and literally passing out." "My wife took me into emergency at Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco and I was straight on a slab... And I have diabetes. And I've obviously had it for quite a long time... During that week where I was falling asleep, my wife said I was losing a kilo a day. So, I have had to have all my trousers taken in," he added. The Oscar winner has a pacemaker which was fitted in 2003.

Hollywood actress Judi Dench, who went through the drastic surgery last month, after she had complained of chronic pain for several years, is back to action just six-weeks after the operation. The actress recently walked down the red carpet to promote her film Philomena.She recently attended the London screening of the film, and while walking through the red carpet, she didn’t need any cane or something. She says, "The scar's from here to here, there to there. I have a completely new knee now. It's brilliant. When I had it done on September 6, I said to my surgeon 'On October 16 I will walk up a red carpet unaided', and so I did. You set your mind to a goal and go for it."While speaking to the sources at the event, she revealed that she has no such plans to retire from acting, as this is the word which is banned at her house. She adds, "I'm not feeling my age at all. I am about 43, a tall willowy blonde 43-year-old with long legs. I don't want to slow down at all. We don't say the word retirement in our house. Old and retired are totally banned. Energy keeps me going."We are in the minority of people who are doing a job we chose to do and can make a living at.
