The latest offering of Zee TV, Doli Armaanon Ki, starring with Mohit Malik as Samrat and Neha Marda as Urmi has been started throwing in new surprises. In the past few episodes one could notice that Urmi, like every girl, is eagerly waiting for her wedding day. She has found her dream man in Samrat but it seems the makers have some thrilling plans to bring in her love story.In the coming episode Urmi will get a shock when she gets to know that Samrat is a man who does not believe in the importance of wedding rituals. And to make matters worse, her reaction will inflate Samrat’s ego and he will go on to call-off his marriage with Urmi.As per the sources, “Samrat will be about to be applied haldi, he will get an official call informing him about an urgent meeting fixed at the same time. Samrat being a person who gives utmost importance to his work, will walk off without completing the haldi ritual.”Ishaan (Siddharth Arora) will hide this truth from Urmi when she will ask about the ritual. He will inform her that Samrat did finish the haldi ceremony. “Samrat’s parents will cover up for their son. But Urmi will later on get to know the truth from Samrat himself, as he will spill the beans saying that he walked out without applying haldi as he had a meeting lined up. This will make Urmi angry and she will confront Ishaan and ask him why he had to cover up for his best friend,” added sources.Urmi’s loud response on the situation will put Samrat to rethink on his marriage decision. He always wanted to marry a girl, who is dutiful and silent, but Urmi’s tenacity to speak her mind and scold his best friend Ishaan will not go down well with Samrat, and he will tell his family that he has decided to call-off the wedding. It would be a big shocker not only for Urmi but for her parents as well.

Many consider that the life of an actor is very easy, however, there is no truth to that in actual, as their life is rather full of thrill and drama, which they have to cope with while shooting for their films. Many a times, we have heard about an actor getting injured while shooting for a film.Last it was Hrithik Roshan, who had received a head injury while shooting for his upcoming film Bang Bang. Now latest to fall victim is singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar, who received severe cuts on his left cheek while shooting stunts scenes in Bangkok.  It is learnt that he was shooting for a television commercial for a multinational brand, when he cut his face and was rushed to the hospital. As luck would have it, he didn’t receive any serious injuries, and he made his way to the sets after doctors stitched up his cut. Sources say that earlier Ali’s body double had to perform the stunts, but he didn’t resemble the current long-hair and French beard Ali is sporting. Hence, Ali decided to do it himself, and in turn, he injured his face. Fortunately things are under control now, and we wish the actor speedy recovery!

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently attended annual lecture at the Penguin in New Delhi where he unveiled about the thoughts of his father Mr. Harivansh Ray Bachchan. He said he remains puzzled by his father's habit in his last days of watching Hindi films rather than turning to his greatest companion his beloved books.Bachchan said his father had called him his greatest poetry. “My biggest problem in my life I do not know whether I am a free verse or a couplet, a chaupai or a shloka. I don't know what he saw in the flickering darkness it had to be more than Hindi cinema's excessive poetic justice in three hours! Did he see a flame that burns itself up lighting up the fire of the written word within? Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth, who was recently in news for his split with controversial girlfriend Miley Cyrus, is said to have hurt his finger in a bid to make an impression on fans by playing a daring game of Five Finger Fillet in front of them.All set to be seen in upcoming film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Hemsworth, 23, was participating in a press show when he by chance struck his finger while playing the game in which a player places his palm down, spreads his fingers and attempts to stab in between the spaces with a sharp object.Not only that he ended up hurting his finger, but in the process he also damaged a $10,000 table. While about the incident on the chat show, Hemsworth said, "It was the first stop we did on The Hunger Games press tour and I wanted to impress everyone and I'd had a couple of drinks. I missed a little bit on the little pinky - see the black dot? Apparently it was a $10,000 table as well that I ruined." Speaking about the same, Hemsworth said that he always believed that he can’t ever go wrong in this game, as he has been playing it since long. "I used to do it a lot in science class when I was in high school - I didn't love science class. So I'd sit there in this class and use my pen to do this. You start with a pen and work your way up to a knife," said Hemsworth.
